I think Leon’s jacket in the movie is the same one as the skin in the deluxe edition of re4 remake. Would make sense cuz I was wondering why they chose such a random blue jacket for one of the skins. Maybe it was based on this movie they hadn’t announced yet.

I think it's well deserved for Jill to return; however, I still feel Capcom's treatment of its leading women to be skewed harshly compared to the men. Claire and Rebecca's returns in the animated films have been very passive and outshined by their counterparts, and things like featured motorcycle branding being used with Leon, but not Claire, despite Claire being infamous for her motorcycles in the games is weird.
Plus, Claire hasn't appeared in a main installment even longer than Jill, and despite both being featured in the Revelations spin-offs, those games have really paled in comparison to the use of Leon and Chris not only being in those but other main games, too. It feels like a lot of fans don't want to recognize that Chris and Leon are being unfairly pushed over Jill and Claire.
Even here, we don't know how minor Jill's appearance is about to be, but just her being flashed on screen at the tail end of this trailer compared to what seems to be Leon and Chris again taking the front attention leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Looks like in the beginning you see Jill with Chris in the first shot of Alcatraz, so she might not be relegated to flashbacks like some people are saying– it also kinda looks like Leon is in one of the cells taking a call?
Is it possible that we are all getting too excited about Jill’s return? I only say that because she doesn’t look older and I worry that perhaps this’ll only be a flashback cameo. What do you all think?

maybe the face model of leon and claire from Remake are too expensive and they seem like treating their face model gig as work, unlike Sasha, Jill's face model is a actual fan of RE.

CM = Caramel Macchiato CC = Chocolate Chips WC = Whip Cream. That's how Rebecca likes her cofee! I remember that reference now 🙂 She mentioned it in RE Vendetta.

Leon the only character becoz of whom i am still into current fkd timeline of RE franchise hoping that he'll one day again be shown in current timeline rather than just remakes and animation movies , curious to know like what he's doing now? , is he alive ? Whats his story now ?

I think Jills just part of a flashback or something, i noticed she looked too young there.
As for rebecca she didnt really show up in the trailer in a confirming way so i kinda doubt shes actually in it. That could just be a rebecca fan or something they meet cuz based on that cup we can only heavily speculate 🤷♂️

Im hopeful Jill will have a prominent role in the movie. However, judging on that 1 second teaser, to me it looks like it could be a flashback of Jill in Raccoon City. Given that she looks identical to the RE3R and the background looks a bit outdated with the green wall, fire extinguisher, and wooden table. I could be wrong, it is only a second that we see of her. But that’s what I think.
Why can't this be RE9 T_T – or a RE game in general. Still hype though.
Im willing to bet this is a flashback. Perhaps Jill right after RE3R. After the post credit scene of her grabbing the broken vial and running off screen. This scene in the trailer could take place sometime after that where shes hunting down umbrella. So between Re4 and 5. And HUGE GUESS here:

Thanks for letting us in on your first reaction! I think this could be the best RE movie yet. It seems so much like an actual classic games so far. In fact, this is what future games should be like. Of course, we've only seen a bit, but this already looks like it's on the right track. Usually, you can immediately tell if something will be trash or not even from the first sneak peak, and this looks good!
