  1. I don't understand why Jay says that "situation in which you need to kill an animal in order to survive that suffering becomes neccesary and you're justified" is ambiguous, it's a claim. He talks about the idea of what's 'needed' and 'justified' and how Alex simply doesn't understand those ideas. What does he mean by this? Needed describes something that is required for something else. In this case: killing the animal is required for survival. It's quite clear what both words mean. He never explains himself and for some he goes on a strange rant about how you can justify anything which has no relevance to his previous claim that Alex just doesn't understand. He never proves his claim that Alex simply doesn't understand the idea of what's needed and justified and he actually never explains what the idea of what's needed and justified is. He just goes on a weird sex slave rant. I tried watching the full debate review for context but it's a painful experience sitting through his strange episodes of being a mid comedian (i think it's a generational thing i'm only 13).
