The Japanese Self-Defence Force’s 1st Airborne Brigade conducted its first parachute drop training of the year on January 8, 2023, joined by paratrooper units from the US, British and Australian armies. The joint military exercise was an apparent display of solidarity by the group, as China ramps up its maritime activity in the region.

  1. This is all china's fault. Had they not threatened everyone around them then it wouldn't be issue. They seemed to believe that no nation would react to their aggression, instead just accept their provocations and demands. The exact opposite is taking place. Same with the russians and the re-arming of the European continent. You can only threaten people for so long before they've had enough, smdh.

  3. Dang it, I don't like this whole military showmanship from many nations. Including China, btw- thankfully Chinese politicians smart enough to avoid getting too close to Russia during its initial attack on Ukraine(though the cyber-patriots who yapped outside the great firewall at first didn't get the message and went all hostile in comments as if they're going to be like Belarus until they're reigned back when their politicians made their neutral stance known).
I still think there's no need for Japan to have soldiers anymore though. It should've been a neutral ground like Switzerland, so if any country attack Japan today, they'll instantly be on the wrong. Having soldiers will just turn it murky water for Japan, and any attacks by other nations can be justified with previous military exchanges or something like that.

  4. New found Japanese army should be trained by Pakistani Army on how to fool around USA to foil all their plans. Japan must remember it is USA who dropped Nuclear weapons not China. China and Japan must go hand in hand to end Asian hegemony of USA and Europe as a whole.

  5. If there is a real war, my money is on China !
Japan will get nuked again if they get themselves involved in a war with China.
Australia will stay out else all their state capital will not exist after the Chinese finished with them.
    UK is too far.
US will back off leaving the Taiwanese to fend for themselves.
Within a week, it will be game over.

  6. As a Chinese, I would say majority of Chinese will agree on nuke Japan if Japan invade china again, even this will lead to a WW3. Japan always has the ambition to invade China. Those people say Japan is a peaceful country don’t know history.

  7. Even at its peak, Japan military could only fight to a stalemate against China. Now China has more than 11x the population of Japan with better military equipment. Japan will not stand a chance against the Chinese. They will be obliterated if they start another war with China because "these are not the same Chinese" !

"A few weeks after the breakout from Kunuri on the Anju road, Paul Freeman ran into Keyes Beech, the Chicago Daily News reporter. Beech was intrigued by Freeman’s role: he had been in China as a young officer and he had seen the Chinese Army up close in those days when it had been something of a joke. Now he was fighting them. What did he think?

“These are not the same Chinese,” Freeman had answered.
