Everything falls back to the console wars with these guys, still trying to justify their hardware purchase. He mentions how there will always be more copies sold on Playstation than pc. OK. So what? PS5 and pc combined is still more sales than PlayStation alone. That's the point of Sony publishing their games on pc, expanding their reach. They're not doing this to see if pc outsells the PS5 in game sales so they can abandon console and pick a winner to publish games to. You have a choice to play PlayStation's offerings on their console, a pc or the cloud, that's a good thing. Jay want's restrictions and artificial limitation on anything that's not a PlayStation console so he can feel like he bought the superior thing smh.

Awhile back JTV showed his PS dashboard and every game was a Sony 1st party. I think he really can't enjoy multiplats and why he gets salty over "losing exclusives". He literally can't enjoy a game anymore if it's on a non Sony platform.

if the game itself is amazing if not worthy of being played as many times and even played by others on other platforms that they experience the game that it makes other people a fans of it, then its a great game that is well worth porting to other systems, its like how movies are available for more than 1 format, or available for more than just theaters, you got choices and ways to experience it.

something i've noticed…i see a lot more vitriol amongst bickering console fanboys compared to PC fandoms (AMD vs Nvidia, AMD vs Intel, etc), which is funny, because none of them actually know anything about hardware; hence why they play on console lol. it's just bizarre to get so worked up about plastic boxes of computer hardware when you…don't know anything about computer hardware

Us PC gamers don't play nor like being limited, consoles aren't too simplictic these console people always use as a point in the Console Vs. PC videos joe did a video on way too many of those funny they alway use the lack of options and being hand held of games they can play censored or not while we can get mods to return them to normal if any of that happens or WE SPEAK WITH OUR WALLETS first to prove a point or can dig through our game libraries! (many of which ain't on consoles but some may get ported later which is a good thing!)
I will agree with Jay ONLY in that FIFA, Wrestling, and all those other games that come out every year are boring. However, it's not because they're multiplat. That has nothing to do with it. It's because it's basically the same exact game with a new paint job. And really, even that is sometimes untrue (I'm looking at you, EA!)
Well, I also don't play such games because I don't like sports games. But yeah, platform has nothing to do with it. Cash grab titles are simply uninteresting.
I am totally fine with Sony games going day and date as long as the PC version isn't lousy. If it takes an extra couple months, then I'll wait. I don't care too much.
I think the biggest mistake Jay is making here is that he thinks hype is everything. I guess that is bound to happen when you live in a bubble where you get super hyped for every little Sony exclusive. I notice hype just doesn't seem to be as big a thing on PC. Sure, it does exist, but I think it's not as densely concentrated as in the console market. I know I don't play a game because of hype. If it's a kind of game I like, then I'm excited. If not, then it can be hyped to the moon and I'll just pass it right by.
I have no idea what JayTech was trying to prove by saying that multi-platform games are 'boring'. All he really did was out himself as a sad, sad person, who physically cannot enjoy a game unless its on his favorite piece of plastic and nothing else. Which is truly a sad state to be in as a human being. But even so, just because he thinks they're 'boring' doesn't mean everyone else does. He specifically mentions games that usually get yearly releases, the COD's, the NBA2K's, sports games, franchises that have stuck to an annual release cycle, as if those are the only games in history that have ever been multi-platform. And it's not like those games have always been bad. Sure, they may be mediocre these days, but the reason they still sell like crazy is because they used to be great and they made their name being MULTI-PLATFORM games, which is why they always top charts. I don't know how anyone could ever think a console exclusive game is going to sell more than a multi-platform one when we've basically seen the evidence of this not being the case throughout the years.
