Such a beautiful story so beautifully told by the man himself.
It's hard sometimes to see the opportunity you have. It's hard sometimes to grasp why things happen the way they do. But it gets easier when we have the backing of a good parent, a good teacher, a good friend. Work hard and be patient. Take the initiative and show the gold that lies inside you. Starting from a place of privilege is not needed to succeed, so long as the drive is there in you, and Jamie is a wonderful example of that.
And thank you again, Dodford, for making these docs that are some of the purest forms of storytelling on here. I can't wait for the next one.

Really great documentary, well done. If I could have added one more interview to support the edit would be his appearance on Inside the Actors Studio, interspersed with his Oscar speech and considered one of the reasons he won that year during his Oscar campaign. Awesome job nonetheless!

The whole Oscar segment at the end was one if not the best endings to a Youtube video i've seen in my life. The jazz music on top of that whole speech, combined with the pictures of Jamie when he was younger really did it for me. Good job Dodford.
