  1. It nice that The Conservatorium Hotel takes a stand against violence in video games, and allows (known) child molesters stay in the Hotel. Good for them. (Btw, NO, a building can't be copyrighted, but the blueprints can)
Surprised you haven't played Broken Pieces. Decent enough game. Entropy Centre is not bad either. To bad so many just call it a Portal Clone. Its not even remotely close. The game stands good on its own.

  2. Y'all saying Jesse had a bad take on the hotel situation when he didn't really have a take. Dude presented and saw logical reasonings for both sides of the argument while ultimately having a "whatever happens, happens" outlook. Did y'all actually watch the video or just copy others responses?

  3. 'Doing extremely well on Steam'?! Ratings are Mixed with 55% positive right now. I wouldn't call that 'doing extremely well'. Maybe in terms of copies sold; but it's CoD, so that was to be expected.

  4. Hey it's their hotel, their business, their money. If they don't want their hotel in the game then it's their play to do what they can. I don't see an issue with changing up the building's shape or look if that's what they have to do. Unless a good chunk of CoD players are also architecture fetishists then I don't see a problem.

  5. I got it for free with a CPU.. My first CoD for many years. The campaign is a lot better than old CoD campaigns. Some levels are much more open, you have more choice in how you want to breach a room etc.
Anyway with the story.. It's either Jesse's reason that they want to look classier than such a lowly "videogameeee", or they want a paycheque. And maybe a dash of wokism in there, too.

  6. While CoD is objectively a popular franchise I can't help but feel these numbers have been intentionally boosted by Sony. Since it is the PlayStation Store they don't have any physical sales to be tracked so it only requires different accounts which can be easily created by Sony for the sole purpose of increasing sales figures in order to block Microsofts growth as a competitor.
Why not spend millions purchasing ghost copies of your current best argument against the merger to fortify your stance? It is simple and easy for Sony to achieve this and is a serious concern.

  7. I was sympathetic to that hotel until they brought up architecture is copyrightable. The copyright system, that was once a good thing(sorta), is now a cancer used by lawyers to steal money from people. Nope, don't care.

  8. The hotel situation would be different if they'd asked for permission first and probably paid for the right to use the hotel, but from the sounds of it, they did not and just made the hotel without permission. And if they had asked permission of the hotel and were denied, then that just adds fuel to the fire of why that decision was bad.

  9. I think it’s hilarious OW2 got lambasted for a standard monetization model but MW2, a 70 dollar game that has the same monetization, isn’t getting any of the same coverage.

  10. Using it as a marketing opportunity feels like a miss if this is a posh rich dude kinda shindig, the average CoD player probably doesn't have much overlap at all with their desired clientele

  11. 3:17 if it IS the reason, its too late, the game came out and they didnt have a clue
so…. maybe have some.. "power" thats equivalent to the control you want

guess theyre not as big and important as theyd like to believe

  12. Why are the alternate dimensions always of psychedelic chaos and, you know, peaceful and serene and full of fluffy bunnies? Like for once I just wanna perform a ritualistic sacrifice on the alter of a dark god and get to go to a nice place! 😂
