As someone that is only a less than casual fan of LOTR, some of the characters seem very difficult to tell the difference between. Not sure if it is the art style, but it seems very muddled. Reminds me of trying to figure out which Jawas need to go where in SWGOH lol

I just saw these movies for the first time, kinda boring, the first was decent, after that, the second began to go down hill fast and the third I watched only a few scenes because I was really done with these movies. I'd give this trilogy a 4/10 🙄

1 hour in the game,I uninstalled it.
Steep summon costs and low gem income on top of the classic energy problems.
Has some nice animation stuff but the content remains the usual swgoh statistick+timegate+gear grind.
I'd rather stick with one sunken cost falacy and not add one more.
Overall it is yet another 5 min daily game where you grind for months while not having any actual fun.

Downloaded today and already 3 game crashes from leveling up characters. Yikes.

Well the tutorial is broken, likes to soft lock players if you do the wrong thing. My account is now broken with that game. Cant link another google account with the game to restart with a new account, automatically logs you in with the original google account…

This game is crap, there are like 10 cannon characters. Where is Boromir
Not ideal but they are definitely going to do multiples of the same characters to pad out roster. For example Strider is clearly Aragorn from the beginning of Fellowship. So they will prob release him as "Aragorn" and then another one when he is leading the army of the dead, and prob another one as King. Gandalf has 2 maybe 3 versions they can do. A little harder for Gimli and Legolas but I am sure they will find ways. Not a huge fan of this but unfortunately it is common place in these types of games.
The game runs pretty janky for such a minimal graphics based game. The animations are very hit or miss, and the story is bad even for a gacha game. This feels very cash graby especially based on what I am seeing in the store. Sucks since I am a huge LoTR fan.

Tolkien will be rolling in his grave. All we want is a game like Conquest, a battlefront like game for PC and next gen consoles… is that really too much to ask?

LotR deserves better than this. I was SHOCKED when I saw Boromir in game. He looked like a store manager at Best Buy or Olive Garden or something. Hideous

I wish it was great to be in Middle Earth today, but unfortunately it looks like it never will be. Mordor has won, and the land has fallen into darkness.
One of the problems of the game is that we don't see the level of the enemies in the campaign, to know if we can beat them ex: 3:1 4:1 the difficulty increases but we don't know theirs lvl

Imagine having Sauron and Gandalf in the opening trailer and not having them in game? Fili, Kili but no Company or Thorin? Even though their desc states they’re part of it? No Legolas, Elrond, etc.. Tf? Imagine using the LoTR IP and only having like 10/46 of the characters recognisable lmao!

I think one of the reasons why this game has a lot of shard requirements is because there are not many characters to collect, maybe they dont want people to be maxed out quickly since the game is fairly new
