More than two dozen organizations are urging the Biden administration to “abandon plans” to allow biological males to compete in women’s sports and use the same locker rooms as biological women. This is simple algebra with one unknown quantity. Kids are introduced to variables in math class around 7th grade.
Seeing an equation explicitly laid out is one thing. However, people generally struggle with story problems. It takes practice to translate ordinary language into the language of numbers.

So Biden was delivering a speech to his people, the people of Ukraine. While the people of US are abandoned. And everything this guy has done is to push for global conflict.

I might not remember the "right" formula, but base on the premise after he read the 30 pages he finished the book by reading an 1/8 and 1/4, which is 2/8, so after the 30 pages he needed to read 3/8 to finish it. So that means he had read 5/8 of the book on those 30 pages. That's enough to figure out how many pages are on a 1/8 which is 6. The multiply that 6 by 8. Cause you know, 6 is 1/8 you need 8 1/8 to make a whole (8/8 = 1) and you get the 48.
Granted I happen to be watching this on a Tab so I was able to pull the pen and scribble. Plus I don't know what formula the teacher wants. But at least I can figure out the number of pages.
