  1. It’s simple trade up if you love someone. If not stay put or trade back if possible. There are stories of regrets on both sides of ever trade. Mahomes and Paxton are good examples of both sides of it good and bad. We don’t trade up for Paxton chiefs or Dallas take him and we get Dak or even mahomes. Cherry picking history can lead to bad decisions. Just my 2 cents. I agree just keep swinging, but only swing on QBs or players you are in love with.

  3. Brock Bowers will be gone by 12 IMO, so yes…..either stay pat and get an OLine, Edge, whichever best player imporves our depleted with talent roster. OR get that deal done and stack picks. (Someone in the high teens or 20's will be wanting to move up for an edge or O line)
I think Bowers is the best pick for us, but we likely would have to move up to 9 to get him. Jets will absolutely draft Bowers

  4. Bolles time here is limited. I think we all know that. (his age aligning with current contract)
Why not get tackle in the first, and package Bolles in a trade. Then we can move back into the second, (seeing we moved Courtland as well). Time to turn the page on the past Elway picks!

  5. I'd take the best player available. Typically, only 1 or 2 QBs drafted make it in the NFL long term. It's important to get past the Russell Wilson contract and get whole again. And do not trade future picks. Stockpile picks, take your medicine for the mistake of bringing Wilson on and get ready for the 2026 season. We may make it to the playoffs next year, but we will not go deep.

  6. Houston: A) already had the 2nd round pick & didnt have to give up their future to get Stroud. B) had already been drafting early, early in the previous drafts to get these talented guys with a semi okay roster with a bad coach, bad org and yes bad QB. Very, very different situations imo

  7. Don't 'sell the farm' to move up a couple spots. It's crapshoot regardless; Tom Brady was the 199th overall pick in the sixth round in 2000, and JaMarcus Russell (anyone remember him?) was number 1 overall in 2007.

  8. Give up 3 first rounders ? Nope I'm out.The success rate for QB's taken in the first round are what 30% (at best) no thanks not a gamble I'd be willing to take considering all the other position needs Denver has. I'd trade back and pick up a 2nd round pick IF they can even find a trade partner willing to make that trade.
