This is my first cut with the new Hilti plunge saw on the Nuron platform, I have been fitting a kitchen and cutting all the panels and scribes with the new saw in conjunction with the Hilti Extractor
As I expected from Hilti the plunge saw is one of the nicest plunge saws in the market place and for more information see this link below

No match for my Dewalt…
A pity the saw & vacuum where not Bluetooth capable
Pretty red with put you in the red pricing.
They can't be serious…. Im sure the saw runs wells but they missed the mark especially when considering the price. Hilti are irrelevant outside their large tool range.
Had mine for about a month now, love it
It looks like they modelled that on the Tesla Pickup thing. 😂👍🏻.
The track saw is probably one of most versatile, tools on the market for a carpenter, kitchen work , scribing trim , doors you name it .. that’s why every tool company has jumped on board..
festool or mafell for me ..
although makita probably the best value for money, the 40v version of course.
Go on , how much ?
Looks incredibly like the Bosch RAIL SAW
The 'rail saw'! This is where I first saw you and Roger comparing the offerings from all the usual suspects, and is how I made my judgement of what saw I wanted to invest in! This saw looks decent!
more expensive than Festool though
I own a lots of hilty tools, they are solid build in Austria/ Germany/ Czech Republic , Im stop buy when a couple years ego, they strat make units etc in China…..
I went to my local dealer to ask for the price. The saw is twice as expensive as Milwaukee. If you add batteries and accessories, track the package price difference increases. Sorry, but I'll stick with typical pro brands.
No score cut? Wtf 😮
Very similar to the Mafell MT55, certainly the F-clamps, the depth stop button and increment scale all look like Mafell components.
The Mafell has a scribe facility for veneered and decorative boards, this saw looks okay but I think I'll stick with the Mafell, Certainly the Mafell saw is a superior saw to the Festool in my opinion. I think that some of the Festool stuff is overrated and over priced, not all but some.
plastic base plate??
Mafell all day long for track saws for me, have the MT55 and the KS 300.
How much was whole kit
No auto vac start? I'm using a 15 year old corded mafell with a cheapo macalister vac with power takeoff, personally when it comes to saws I'd take a corded tool I can run off power take off any day over a battery powered one with no bluetooth function.
That rail looks like bosch/mafell rail?
Looks like a toy and rattles like one too ! I don't think Ive ever heard plastic, sound more plastic ! 😂
Any brand of tool engineered well, will always work, because the person using the tool has the skill, tool choice and branding among woodworkers is an idea inspired by finance and taste.
Looks very plastic. I have numerous Hilti tools on the old platform, which I love, but I'll be sticking with Festool and Mafell saws.
Im telling Festool!! haha …!
Seeing you bend over and turn the extractor off was a major problem for me.
That system at a no doubt high price point should have Bluetooth.
Festool all day.
C'mon…
Hilti circular/plunge saws are compatible with Festool FS tracks. I can use circular hand saw with adapter already for years with FS track. New Mafell router adapter can also be used with Festool FS tracks.
Clearly you haven’t used mafell but that’s ok.
Wish someone would show a clip of a joiner using a track/plunge saw without a rail. Just once, to justify second scale on the depth stop.
Question…Did David Roentgen have one ?
Typical hilti I always late to the party
