You have spent the past few weeks building a small but serviceable boat for your eventual departure from a small, unnamed island youβve found yourself stranded on. With help from a gorgeous merman, youβve been accumulating materials for the boat as well as food to sustain yourself. Since the merman saved you from your vessel; sunken by pirates off the western coast of Terrun, the two of you have grown closer despite the perilous circumstances. This night, he arrives; tired but bearing more materials for your boat as well as some special gifts theyβd retrieved from a personal stash theyβd hidden in the reefs below. Often times, theyβd swim about in the waters around the island for a while as you talked and enjoyed each otherβs company. But tonight, they crawl further onto the shoreline and rest their chest against the sand. Their head in their hands they stare at you with warm, brown eyes befitting of their dark skin and long, black hair. This will have been the first time that theyβve inquired on spending the night here with you on the island.

Not only was this soothing and relaxing, but this was so emotionally beautiful too. Oh this merman always captures my heart. He is always so caring and adorable….just makes want to stay with him and protect him forever. And the way he pronounced "neck laces"…..that was just too cute.
And the ocean waves in the background were so calming and peaceful, that I was falling asleep. Of course I woke back up and listened to this again, which was all worth it.
