  2. As a popular supercross rider from the US with more skill than you can shake a stick at, a past regional champ, multiple 450 outdoor moto wins and overall on a bike that was considered outdated even back then (Suzuki). From what I've heard, he's one of the few riders that really knows how to test and understands how the bike works, what he's feelings and why, which direction to go, and perhaps just as important, he knows how to communicate/translate that feeling into words that's easy to understand for suspension guys and developers….Most riders, especially the guys coming up, they know they don't like what they feel, but no clue why it feels that way or which way to go from there, making it really easy to go the wrong way and get lost on set up. Having that ability is a rare invaluable asset to a team, especially an all new team/motorcycle with totally different technology, so I imagine he's getting paid quite well for what he's doing, while being able to continue racing at a lower level and having fun again riding with little to no pressure when it comes to results.

I grew up around Bogle, saw him all the time at Robbies as an amateur, same with Colt, Trey, Cue, Johnny Marley, Ryan Voit, Marquire…There's been a lot of good riders come out of Oklahoma.

The Canard, Cue, Voit, Marley battles at Cooperland back in the day are burned into my brain… Voit got the better of them a lot of the times…He never got his pro license for Supercross, but he could stop riding for multiple years, throw a bike in his truck that he barrowed from Stillwater Kawasaki/Suzuki, go to a pro arenacross race with little to no seat time, win it, then go home lol.
