  1. I’m going to see this on Wednesday and I’m dreading it. Indiana Jones is one of my all time favourite characters. Kathy just couldn’t leave him alone. She had to destroy another George Lucas creation. What next? Remake American Graffiti?

  2. I know my parents said they saw Raiders back in like 1981…. I didn’t (YET) because I was like 3 years old 😂😂😂 and my mom and Dad said it was one of their date nights back in the ’80s

  3. Also, with the idea of a female Indiana Jones… UM, NO! I say, why not use the character of Marion Ravenwood from Raiders of The Lost Ark; and tell stories through a younger her and adventures with her father, Professor Ravenwood, as well as, of course, Indiana Jones, because you know some stories can be written between the time of before Raiders that screenwriters can write for her character as well as an entirely recasted, Indiana Jones.

  4. I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark in the Lakeland Florida Drive-In in '81-'82. We had to wait months for a Florida theater to get the film and we drove 50+ miles when it did. It didn't reach out local thearures for over a YEAR. It stayed sold out.

  5. One has to remember, when Raiders came out it was a wild gamble. Like Jaws, like Star Wars, the studios had some faith in these films based on the filmmakers previous success and some equally adventurous producers. All that creative courage/Devil may care attitude is utterly devoid in the later day franchise.

  6. I love the first movie RAIDERS but it really lost its luster with TEMPLE OF DOOM. I thought THE LAST CRUSADE was decent…pretty good. I despised CRYSTAL SKULL. Don’t care to see this at all.

  7. I think they should’ve made the strain on Indy’s marriage because he’s technically old at 80 but still has it and loves going on adventures. That would be better. That he’s an 80 year old that still has vitality and Marion can’t hold him down.

  8. (Everyone please ensure the safety catches to your flamethrowers are in the ON position😊) After two years of "we're NOT replacing Indy", given this alternative, I'd almost rather they had. Having Chris Pratt (or another younger actor with respect for the role) in place of the "deaged" Ford in the opening (like with River Phoenix in Crusade) could have been springboarded into sequels set in the 30's-40's, with (now professor) Quan back as film's main sidekick setting up a series of adventures set in the 60's-70's. At this point I fail to see how THAT could be worse than "Liverpool Fleabag and the Rapers of the Lost Art". Ford's a legend for a reason, but alot of our favorite "Indy" moments weren't really him, with Terry Leonard going under the truck and Vic Armstrong on the conveyor belt coming to mind.

  9. No way am I gonna see this hunk of junk. Starting with Ghostbusters 2016, I have refused this gender swapping nonsense. Nor have I seen Kingdom of The Crystal Skull. Not interested. Here's my moniker for this stinker: Indian Jones and The Dowery of Disaster. Kathleen Kennedy is the personification of Misandry. That poor husband of hers, what's his name? Any man who takes their son to go see this, needs to have his man bun viciously chopped off. My dad was a Born Again Christian and we missed the first few minutes of Raiders. We sat dow just as Indy came flying out of the cave entrance. I know. Rude. After that showing, we "Hung Out" until the next showing. My dad was blown away by Raiders. He liked the messaging, or intent, behind all the action. I was in total agreement with him. No way will I sully the memory of my dad clapping and cheering and rooting for Indy to succeed, with his actions amped the second viewing.

  10. Why is anybody surprised about the tone, after seeing what Mangold did with Logan? You guys should have expected a movie with a broken hero. That's Mangold's thing. Seems to me that you should have started complaining about this the moment he got hired to direct the movie
