The trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (what a title) seemingly confirm the YouTube rumors about a time travel plot. And someone on 4chan claims to have seen a test screening and that OTHER rumor about Phoebe Wall-Bridge’s character supplanting Indiana Jones could also be true. However, director James Mangold vehemently denies it. Is he telling the truth, or will this be another Kevin Smith debacle?

Makes me laugh. We already have Tomb Raider for a super empowered Woman archaeologist adventurer. Do we need another ?!
Honestly, I'm surprised the rumour isn't that 'she' will be non binary or trans.. &/or black.
Plus Tomb Raider, arguably, has reached as big an audience.
But it's not really about creating a new character is it, it's just another example of deconstructing an existing successful Male led I.P. (white Hetro man bad).

Regardless of whether the rumors are true or not, the movie will not be worth watching. There is a well-established track record of Disney producing seepage, and tirelessly “doubling down” on everything that makes their products reprehensible. While they may be reshooting and tweaking right now (red flag in and of itself), the foundation was laid years ago in the corrupted mire of DIRE and ideology. Even if there is a relatively acceptable version of the movie somewhere in all the mess, it’s not worth my time. This project has no backbone and no vision, and the people behind it have no credibility. Why the heck would anyone waste time and money on this tripe when there are so many other things that are actually worthwhile? Like virtually every other IP, this is a familiar brand and logo slapped onto an nauseating counterfeit.
Hollywood allowing their most profitable and iconic franchises to be ruined by the current “creatives” due to their ideologies and lack of creativeness, is the greatest self own of all time.
Think of how much money these companies have left on the table so to speak, for what?

Say what you will about Doomcock and his reporting on rumors, but it appears that he was way ahead of the rumor curve in regards to Indy.
All of Doomcock's RoS leaks came from a guy on Reddit. None of what he said was from his own sources. He's also said the sequels would be retconned in Book of Boba Fett, and that Darth Talon would appear as well as Han Solo, but none of it happened.

Anytime Disney wants to kill off a franchise and reboot it, Deadpool can be their new executioner. In a continuation of the montage at the end of Deadpool 2. Deadpool, in a new suit with Mickey ears, time travels to the end of Last Crusade and shoots Indy, his Dad, Brody and Sallah preventing the Crytal Skull and part 5 from taking place. Deadpool then travels to Endor to kill Luke Skywalker and the gang at the end of RotJ. The Deadpool endings would be so much more satisfying than the ones they have actually released.

If anyone seen the movie, you'll love it! I seen it, I love the part Indy assault a Nazi submarine base with the rest of the new taskforce 141. They were tryin to stop the Nazi from launching the nuke from the sub, you see Indy enter the sub. You see a grown up short round shouting over the radio, "INDY,DO YOU COPY? THE SILO DOORS ARE OPEN, I REPEAT, THE SILO DOORS ARE OPEN! Then Indy say "good" and short round shouts out "NOOOOOO! MISSILES IS IN THE AIR! CODE BLACK! CODE BLACK! Indy sent a nuke on the way to America to disable the Nazi forces from invading America however, America suffered a lot of causalities from the EMP blast. Honestly, I was on the edge of my seat when I watched it. So stunning and brave!!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

Mangold said she doesn't "replace" Indiana Jones in the film, and technically that is true, because at the end of this film when she is rumoured to be taking Indy's place in his own past adventures as we have all heard, Indiana Jones doesn't actually "exist". Understand? Get it? By that logic Indy was never there at all, so how can he be replaced? These people are assholes. This film is going to be horrid. On the one had it will be so outrageously bad it will border on comedy and I am sure many will laugh AT it. On the other it is a ghastly example of pop culture vandalism by ( I don't care what these people were involved with in the past) now infinitely untalented individuals with no creative integrity. Only a penis would read such a script (if leaks are true) and agree to direct it.
Lucas and Spielberg gave up on Indy, and that should have rang alarm bells for whomever was approached to carry Indy on.
What's next? Reforming the Beatles with all new members and saying it's better than the real Beatles actually were when it is obviously not The Beatles and obviously shit? Might as well.

Indiana Jones is over anyway unless they recast the part or reboot the franchise completely. It's not as if Harrison Ford is any boon to the franchise now anyway – in the last ten years or so when he does something he doesn't like he just phones it in, and it shows. Either this franchise needs to die completely, or they need to get somebody else in the title role. Who that would be I don't know because when Ford *doesn't* phone it in no one can come close.
I believe this rumor started on 4chan /tv/. But it's important to note that while many things he said were accurate, he also said that the female Indy ending was one of four that they tested on different audiences. My guess based on what the director has said is that that ending tested awfully so they have gone with a different one, or at the very least they have ruled that one out.
I have no issue with passing the torch, but it's all in how you do it and who is taking up the "mantle". If it goes down the exact way this leak says it will, then us Indy fans are fucked. At least there is a video game to look forward to
I can see it now, Indy retconned out of existence, the girl take shis place and goes through all his classic adventures on a new disney plus series, except she'll do it better and smarter.
