So far the first episode has been stellar. 10/10 how it should be done for a game to movie adaptation. If anyone thinks this is "bad" then just go watch the halo tv series that took ten years to make… I think you will be surprised how directors keep failing to follow their source material and ignoring their audience.
I guess HBO was obligated to cast a black girl thanks to the woke Hollywood stupidity. Sarah is supposed to be white like her dad.

As a fan of the game i say this is very bad,the characters don't look or act like the ones in the game.
And Jesus Christ is that the girl they pick for Ellie? really?They din't have ANYONE that could look like Ellie even a little?
Some of the history looks kinda like in the game but still not good.
They had the history the lines and they need to do is to find some actors that look like the game characters and make the movie,but don't looks like anyone can do that.
Resident evil,Silent Hill,Dead Rising Monster hunter all bad adaptations and now they add The Last of us to the pile.
I love the games but i don't like this, you guys can pretend to like it all ya want but if you played the games deep inside you don't like what they did.

The girl with all the gifts is a much better story. Never played the game. Thought the first episode was weak and woke.
