I would freak out if I knew someone else got free healthcare before me based on anything but medical severity of the issue.
I have autoimmune disease/arthritis in my spine, hypothyroidism, fibromyalgia from years of untreated arthritis pain and my insurance wants me to pay $100 out of pocket for a single physical therapy appointment my doctor said I need to be going to like twice a WEEK T_T. I've just been straight up ignoring debts and I can't afford any counseling, physical therapy or treatments really bc my copay to just see a doctor is also $100 for a specialist and $50 for my GP. The only reason I'm not homeless rn is bc I'm living off of funding in grad school taking crazy ass loans. I get kicked off my parent's health insurance this summer and idk what imma do.
All I'm saying is the state of healthcare in this country is one of the nation's biggest issues, yet it gets absolutely no support compared to other things. If I was on that playground, it's gonna be a fight to the death over who gets the bandaid idc
