Well it’s obviously satire. I think, and I’m not nearly old enough to have walked with him in the flesh, but I think he would’ve appreciated comedy. He participated in parties. As for our Lord's potential sense of humor, I'm actually counting on it and given how positive and healing the power of laughter is I have to believe that it is simply one of the many gifts given to us by our Father. There's a greater conversation to be had regarding the source of that laughter, (why we're laughter and what we're laughing at) but if we are created in His image – and a sense of humor is a distinct human characteristic – then it would follow that the Lord has one too. Boy, I sure hope so anyway! 'Cuz if Jesus doesn't have a sense of humor then I'm in trouble! 😁
