  1. It's important to note that China does not harbor a zero sum mentality like the United States and European countries (Britain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain) do. Let's remember that these countries colonialized the shit out of the world. China has never been colonial, not at any time in its 3,500 years of history.

So when China reaches Mars, it won't do what former colonial powers are wont to do: lay claim to territory and fight over it.

  2. China is in the business of stealing technology from other countries. Prominently the United States, there are a bunch of thieves. The United States is the one that gave them their money. Before Richard Nixon went to China. They were a very backward country. We let these people go to our universities work for our businesses and now we're paying the price.

  3. Between the FAA holding SpaceX back, which I believe is because Biden hates Elon musk, for reasons unknown to me. Let's face it. It SpaceX is our space program, yeah we have the ESLS that wants is once every 20 years. If they would let SpaceX launch their rocket, we be at Mark's way before the Chinese had a chance to get there.

  4. SpaceX doesn't have any financial problems I was able to do. They actually shut off investments cuz they don't need any more money. Their estimated worth is 150 billion, they're the richest space company in the world.

  5. That's the problem with the human race. They can never just work together for the greater good of the world. They always want power and more power. None of the planets/Earth belong to any one person, they belong to everyone not who gets there first. If the human race is to survive then it needs to work together not separate. As for right now, the human race is doomed because no one cares about each other. The only thing they think of is greed and what they can take for themselves instead of helping out the world. Until the world learns how the help everyone instead of how they can line their pockets we are a race that will never make it.

  6. Mars has the same surface area as the land area on Earth. There is plenty of space and resources on Mars for many cities for the next few centuries for many organisations.
The Moon on the other hand has limited life support resources, that could end up in a war on Earth.

  7. China couldn't land, they might get to Mars.
Made in China product longevity is at best 6 month's which is about the time it takes to get to Mars. Spacecraft will be wore out or broken shortly after arriving.
Quality and dependability is probably the one and only thing they've not copied from other countries.

  8. The problem for China is – it cannot steal technology to go to Mars and it lacks the capacity to build anything on their own. Hence it will have to wait for US to go first and then steal it – so that it can go next.

  9. The fun is colonizing thresholds are so distant and difficult that they won't serve any purpose for atleast about 2 decades. You can't colonize a larger than earth planet with extreme realities and transiting parameters. There is more space for all and opportunities of attritional competition too. Haw😂
