  1. Hello everyone, hope you like this video. I tried a few things to improve the audio since some people have been saying my video's audio hasn't been the best in the past. Let me know if I'm on the right track.

Let me know your favorite regiment and any suggestions for future vids

  2. People who get into a sci fi universe with so many different interesting races, space marines and chaos and still choose to focus so much of their time on imperial guard always fascinate me. That's a thing I've mainly noticed in older folks like my dad. Seemingly the older someone is the more likely they are to go for the more grounded, barely sci fi guard. It's really interesting. I don't see any young people playing or talking about guard at all

  3. There's so many great Regiments,.
Mine is the Praetorians but forgot to say why last video.
Zulu is an amazing film that Praetorians and their Games Day diorama was based on that campaign.

Give them the good old 1st Rank, Fire, 2nd Rank, Fire….

  4. Guard Guard Guard Guard Guard!!!

Played Catachans with Cadian models for an armoured fist squad and Praetorians for Veterans, with some non-GW models for mortars.

Lore accurate, coz it’s stated ad-hoc regiments are frequently put together made up of remnants of depleted units.

Gimme Guard any day before I simp for the geneseed betas.

  5. I also heard that the Tallarn have influence from the British SAS during WW2 in the African deserts. Because GW is British, it makes sense. They used hit and run tactics and would dress like arabs. You missed an influence lol!! Insert angry rant at you

  6. Personally I'm a big fan of the really weird ones. Savlar Chem Dogs for one. They mirror how a lot of societies under pressure turn to organized crime, despondents, and criminals to secure battle-ready troops. Like how say, after the invasion of Iraq, a lot of the more hardcore for the various more extreme fedayeen insurgent groups recruited from bandit gangs, displaced farmers, etc, who even adopted the practice of being given the privilege of looting weapons from fallen enemies as a form of payment for their services, just like how the Chem-Dogs do.

  7. Well done, good sir, splendid showing! However, I almost spilled my tea, when I noticed that your list of notable regiments of His Imperial Guard is still lacking mention of the fine chaps of the Praetorian Guard. They're one of the best, if not THE best, in the galaxy. Tally-ho!

  8. Praetorian guard! I'm a really old school WH fan (I started at 2nd edition) and there have been some few miniatures of them from the pretty much at the beginning. I've alway thought they would make a really cool looking army but there's never been that much love for them :(.
