So what do we do if we skipped the tutorial??? So what do we do if we completed our bounty hunter certs?
I had that bug and I was trapped in that hab. I had to log out and back in. I have done all of that stuff since Aug except the tutorial. It only shows that I have done the tourist task of visiting the IAE.
HTF does a person complete the tutorial task when you have to backspace to get out of your hab??? I started a second account just to see if it was something connected deep within the code that makes up my origins account and my second account has exactly the same bug!
The intro hauling mission before you can do the Rookie mission is 3 SCU from the planet to the station unless they've changed it. Doable in an Aurora, Mustang, 100i, Cutter
That's why I no longer try to convince my friends to play this game. You can't even complete the simple tutorial. Honestly, it's embarrassing — there's not a single reliable system in this game; everything, to a greater or lesser extent, is still broken.
Given that it's meant to help train new players, based on calling it Academy, it should be able to be completed with a starter ship & by picking up a multi-tool with the mining as well as tractor beam attachments. Personally, I feel that this mission is missing a reward of a matching multi-tool for the set.
This is the first time I'm hearing of the academy. I checked the website and it shows I have Hauling completed already despite not playing since 3.24.3 dropped lol.
4scu boxes for the starter mission is terrible. Every starter under the avenger is useless. I've also noticed low level missions seem to rarely give 2scu, only a bunch of 1scu. Thought it was because they gave the syulen only 1scu spots (when it could easily be 2scu per arm) but if the starter mission is giving 4scu boxes, that's just a terrible oversight.
Completing the tutorial gives you aUEC at the end, so I try to do it every time… but I haven't been able to complete the tutorial for months. If I log out to menu, the missions are failed and I can't restart. This is a terrible situation for a new player to be in, and not great for an experienced player. You'd think they'd try the tutorial a few times before a free fly event?
very simple … yea no it dosent track properly, half of the stuff is impossible if you already done it … they say they track missions from 3.24 upwards, well ive done the tracker permit pre 3.24 i dont even get the mission anymore … tutorial cant do cause i skip it everytime i get pack to a patch … the only 3 missions left i gotta do one already didnt track when i cpompleted it

Yeah you really need a ship with a lot more grid space than what you're told you're moving because of the formats they come in and how grids are setup. Sort of annoying in a case like this where you might not have a lot of options, but with IAE I guess you can rent something with enough space.

The Nomad is a starter ship and it can do that mission as well it hauls 24 scu and it can handle a 4 scu box
Im confused why the guardian was showed but its not even available for purchase
Nomad could do all that, and is still a starter. Betting the cargo would have fit in a C8X

Strange you got 4SCU containers, it should be all 1SCU. The Nomad is the only starter that would be able to do that.

I spawned in area 18 and the tutorial is bugged… it stops after equiping the helmet and you cant exist the hab….
Good job showing off the tutorial and how to get around common SC bugs which can be a big turn off for new players.

I once had to reinstall my game with a fresh launcher. I actually believe it did give me the option to play the tutorial 🤔
