I Went Hunting Naked in the Amazon Jungle With Waorani Tribe

The Waorani people who live deep in the Amazon jungle of remote eastern Ecuador are one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in the world and they get most of what they eat by catching it from the jungle, with handmade blowguns and curare poison that they make themselves. My friends and I had the pleasure of accompanying them on one of their hunts recently and I wanted to try doing it like they do, which is to say completely naked head-to-toe. Hands down one of the craziest things I’ve ever done!

HUGE thanks to Wareka for guiding us into the jungle, you can check out his IG here: https://www.instagram.com/amazonwaoraniexpeditions/

  2. Camera man John is an absolute unit, why would you bring a man like that along on their hunt in the middle of a jungle when he’d struggle up a flight of stairs……

Man’s a Warrior for going though

  4. So the monkey dies with many unsuccessful curar darts hits. He's dead finally after many hits.. so the heart stops long since the first hit. It's in his blood and muscles. So now eat him!?🤔

  5. Miigwech (thank you) for theses videos. Much respect for going full indigenous with the tribe on the hunt. I hope the world can respect this tribe and thier way of life. The knowledge they have is just as important as modern knowledge. Protect these people at all cost. Just not the same way as the USA "Protects" the native americans.

  6. My skin is extremely sensitive, I could never do this simply for the fact that I have sensory issues when things unexpectedly touch me and I'm afraid of contracting diseases from bloodthirsty parasites. This guy's courage is from another dimension that I cannot see.
