Okay so this Nintendo Direct was a little bit good and bad. So Mario VS Donkey Kong remastered it looks great I have seen old YouTube videos about Mario VS Donkey Kong GBA and it looks great so I can't wait to play that when it comes out next year.
Super Mario RPG remastered looks great the attacks from the characters and the Special Moves and the Triple Moves look fantastic and that remake of the Forest Maze theme sounds so good to listen too and I want to hear the voice acting for the cutscenes though since the characters move their mouths in the cutscenes so yeah I can't wait to play this game in two months I'm so excited.
Princess Peach Showtime looks fantastic and the new antagonist looks great and the new companion Stella looks so cute and the transformation looks fantastic cause you can be a sword fighter, a detective, a chef, and a kung fu master so I'm so excited for this game to come out next year and also for some reason Princess Peach's voice sounds different did she have a new voice actress or something?
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD looks great the whole gameplay looks fantastic and the ghost look pretty good but the online thing oh boy that's gonna be a hard thing to do but I cannot wait to get this game next year it looks great.
The Nintendo Museum looks great the whole building looks amazing and I can't wait to see some history from this museum like for Mario or Kirby or any other Nintendo stuff so I can't wait to go over there and see it.
WarioWare Move it I mean it looks fun I haven't played any of the WarioWare Games so this could be my first time playing so yeah I don't know I'll think about it.And that new Wario voice though I mean it does sound like Wario but like Charles Martinet’s voice for Wario so yeah I don’t know.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 6 okay we got four new characters which are Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette so I wanna know what does this mean? Because I hope that Kirby gets to be in the roster in the final category with all the Nintendo Crossover Characters cause I know he has his own racing game which is Kirby’s Air Ride but he needs it so please Nintendo give Kirby a chance man. So like are they gonna do more to it or not I'm so confused with this?
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remastered this game looks fantastic and the characters voices when they mumble was unexpected but great and the whole gameplay looks fantastic so I cannot wait to get this game on next year it looks so much fun to play and this could be my first time playing it.
Okay The Direct was good but sad because we didn't get anything for Kirby like remastered versions of Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and also new epilogue modes for both Taranza and Susie. And we didn't get a remake for Tomodachi Life which I'm upset because we got freakin Miitopia on the Switch we just need Tomodachi life because these two games are part of a series so why not add it in the Switch and also with the new Mii Maker Editor so please Nintendo get these games on the switch and not on the new console.
Okay so obviously nothing can compete with the TTYD remake, personally speaking. It's my favorite video game of all time and I've been hoping for this remake since Color Splash was revealed. And it looks even better than I hoped, taking the visual style of modern games while retaining the not only the character designs, but the characters themselves of the original. They could've made Hammer Bros. look modern, but they didn't and THAT'S what hits home for me. Adding in all the new visual details and I'm confident that this will be the best remake I'll ever play.
And as for Mario Kart, man I'm so glad to see Daisy Circuit. It's a track I really wanted, but didn't think would happen. Then again, it's hard to be sure what will happen as of late, ever since Moonview Highway shook things up. This definitely shifts my personal predictions up once again. Also, real talk… why is Diddy Kong a middleweight instead of a lightweight like Bowser Jr.?
Reason ehy peachette was picked : begin 1/3 high end driver you get starting tour, and that's it… i still like her tho

with there being 4 characters that genuinely brought more of a likelihood that we get a second pass, there's enough tracks still in tour to have another year's worth of tracks and with the added fact that they're no longer working on tour anymore they would only be focusing on the dlc and in turn the quality of the tracks would be much more improved upon, also we're gonna get biker outfits for Pauline and Peachette

If daisy circuit had been planned since the start of the bcp then it means that 4 Wii tracks were planned for wave 6!!😅
I hate channels that try to call the middest of mid directs “the best direct ever”
So in my opinion it would be nice if they got new karts like Pauline has a taxi like Mario Kart Tour and Diddy and Funky Kong have a banana kart and if it's the 6 wave they should have added new items then should have I done it. Do it. You're happy, but what about Peachette? I have no idea, she's definitely not my thing, but whatever, as long as Pauline Diddy and Funky

I’m sorry but yall PMTYD fans are definitely overhyping this direct and game way too much. It’s became exhausting hearing yall keep saying its the best story telling ever presented, its better than all that come after it and it was peak Nintendo. People like myself who haven’t played it can become annoyed by how much bragging goes no about this game. It’s really over done
ive been holding off on buying the dlc because i want to beat every new track with diddy kong honestly i didnt like anything in the direct but seeing diddy in mk8dx made me pop off ngl
1 of 2 things will happen. Scenario 1 is where gcn rainbow road is the last track. Or Scenario 2 is where we still get wii rainbow road. All I can say is we are 100 percent getting a rainbow road
Honestly, I feel like if they really wanted all of us to be Hyped for the 4 new characters, they should had done, Funky kong, Diddy kong, Pauline. And R.O.B, and I say R.O.B cause if he was included instead of peachette (May I remind you we don't have an actual representation for MK DS) R.O.B would had been such a big curball since it would had meant ever character of the whole franchise would had been in MK8D, which would had meant every mario kart game would had a character representing its tittle, such a miss opportunity, May R.O.B rest in piece, brother just forever stuck in MK DS.
in hindsight my only complaint is that we got Peachette over Poochie as the 4th
I kinda wanted Mushroom Bridge more but as long as it doesn’t somehow replace DK Mountain, I’m fine with it. Oh and also the character selection is superb. Ever since we got Birdo, I wanted Petey Piranha, Kamek, Diddy and Funky Kong, and Pauline and now that we have all of them plus Wiggler is awesome! 8 Deluxe besides Tour now has the best roster of any Mario Kart game.
As for the rest of the Direct, I absolutely enjoyed it! F-Zero 99 I’m addicted to as a massive longtime F-Zero fan, The Thousand Year Door remake looks phenomenal for my favorite RPG game, can’t wait to revisit both Super Mario RPG and Luigi’s Mansion 2, and Princess Peach Showtime also looks great! Also can’t wait for Mario Wonder too!

That was a good direct?? Pretty much confirms the switch 2 will release next year & Mario Wonder will be the last big switch game. Think Metroid Prime 4 & a 3d Mario will be launch titles. A New Mario Kart will annouced for 2025…
You people really need to stop expecting changes to the existing roster because it wont change regardless, because the animations the new characters showed are different than Peach and DK's which is why they are NOT going to be alts and because of that i think they will add 8 characters per column and have all 8 DLC characters for 1 column.

I’m a big Mario fan too but I wouldn’t say this was Nintendo’s best direct. I’ll give it a 6/10. It focusing on Mario and barely on other franchises brings it down
As much as I like that they added 4 characters for the last wave, i still can't help but feel that they blew it regarding kart part variety. Nintendo balanced kart parts in recent waves but couldn't be bothered to add even 1 when the selection has been stagnant since 2018. This has put a major damper on my interest in the tracks. Its just not as fun racing on new tracks without new kart parts to go with them.
