  1. I’m still not over it but now I’m going into Deathly Hallows hoping some Death Eaters get murdered this time… thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed a good cry! Always good to cry every once in a while.

  2. Absolutely loving the series. Part 1 and part 2 deserved to be independent videos. As much as I cannot wait to see you react to part 2. It would be an injustice to smash them together. Great series and amazing reactions. You pick up on things some people don’t even notice after the 20th time watching. Again. Absolutely amazing keep it going!!

  3. So theres a lot of stuff left in the books. But that guy you said you wanted to know more about is a Werewolf and I believe hes the one that infected Lupin but he also goes around hunting/turning children. An adult man that goes around hunting kids and leaving them with a horrible disease/infection, hmm interesting analogy. I actually never finished the Half blood prince book just went onto Deathly Hallows so the rest of yall tell me if theres any really interesting book stuff.

  4. Hi Cole! Happy New Year to you. I hope it's a good one.
Well, we're getting to the meat of this story now, aren't we? While my least favourite movie compared to the books, there's still a lot to enjoy here and your reaction did not disappoint. In fact, there's not many of us who can keep a dry eye at the end there. haha
As always, just a few clarifying points regarding things you mentioned.

A lot of wizards get around by apparition, but it's quite difficult and requires a licence to do it legally. They begin learning at Hogwarts (with a ministry examiner) in their 6th year, but can't take the actual Ministry test for their licence until after their 17th birthday. Even so, there's still a lot of accidents even when experienced wizards apparate. If they're not concentrating and focusing properly, they can even leave limbs behind.

The book is very much a buddy cop book. Harry and Dumbledore go on all sorts of missions together but the movie cut them all out (as well as all the mystery surrounding the Halfblood Prince) to focus on the teen romance love drama, which is more of a small side plot in the novel.

Horace Slughorn, while a little pompous and classist, is quite a kind hearted, good natured guy deep down and a talented wizard. He was a Slytherin too. See I told you they weren't all bad! Haha He was also actually head of Slytherin before Snape.

Dumbledore went to see Tom Riddle when he reached 11 years old and was ready to be admitted to Hogwarts. Kids that didn't know they were wizards, such as muggle borns, would have a faculty member visit them and their family to explain it all. Dumbledore was sent to Tom.

Luna, despite being a Ravenclaw, wore the Lion headpiece to support her friends in Gryffindor. Honestly, she's so wholesome. One of my favourite characters.

The ripped death eater dude you wanted to know more about is called Fenrir Greyback. He's a werewolf with a special proclivity for attacking children. His aim was to attack as many people as possible and infect them to build himself a werewolf army to take on the wizards. It was him who infected Remus Lupin after Lupin's father said all werewolves deserve death. Voldemort didn't especially like werewolves, but promised Greyback prey in return for his services in the war as he was well renowned for his savagery.

The potion hiding the locket makes one re-live their worst moments in excruciating pain. There's things in Dumbledore's past that were truly painful for him. Also, they didn't take the order of the phoenix along because the less people that know about the horcruxes the less chance of word getting back to Voldemort that they're hunting them and know about them. No one knows if there's ever a spy anywhere. Including the order.

The things in the lake are called Inferi (Inferius singular). They're corpses that Voldemort reanimated to use as guard dogs for the locket. He made a lot of inferi throughout his time as he murdered countless people.

When you said “Snape, step in, man!” I don't think that was what you meant lol

Snape is called the Halfblood Prince because his dad was a muggle and his mom was a witch whose maiden name before she was married was Prince. Snape was most proud of his wizarding blood, hence Halfblood Prince. The entire mystery is gone into in depth in the book.

Dumbledore's funeral is a really beautiful scene in the book too. Damn, you have to give them a read at some point. There's so much you'll love that they missed out.

Voldemort gave Draco the task of assassinating Dumbledore on pain of death as a punishment for Lucius fking up at the Ministry with the prophecy. Voldemort never expected Draco to succeed. He wanted to punish the Malfoys is all.

Yes one and two of Deathly Hallows need to be seperate videos as they're two feature length movies!

Loved your emotion during this one. Can't wait for the final 2! Big hugs!

  5. Aww. I wish I could give you a hug! As much as you feel sad about losing Dumbledore, consider what it was like before the movies, when we were reading the books over time, getting emotionally involved for YEARS, only to lose Dumbledore. I absolutely SOBBED. It was the first time a fictional character's death just ripped my heart out.

A lot of people who haven't seen the series assume it's all innocent wizarding fun, yes, and when I tell them it gets dark and heavy, they roll their eyes. Their loss, honestly! The progressively darker tone is really quite genius of Rowling, because it gives the readers (most of whom are children and teenagers, but not always of course) a chance to mature alongside the story. It's incredibly well-paced in that sense. And as much as I love this movie for giving Draco's character complexity and turmoil, I dislike how they handled the Half Blood Prince storyline and reveal. It was much more impactful in the book, and was better explained.

Great reaction. Looking forward to the final two installments!

  6. Can't wait to see the rest. Your reaction has been great sofar. you're not only catching many things others don't but I love how much love you already have for everyone and everything in the series.

  7. They did a good job of splitting the deathly hallows up into 2 movies, from one book. No need to treat them as one movie. I imagine the length to sit there and watch both, and then edit them together coupled with the 2x amount of copy wright issues you'll run into by making it twice as long. Plus I really don't want you to have to skimp out on any of the reactions to get that CW clearing on youtube. so feel completely free to watch part 1 and 2 as completely separate movies.

  8. 21:19 the reason why the whole order doesn’t show up is because that scene was ENTIRELY MADE UP for the movie. It never happened. Instead of showing us all of the memories, they wasted time destroying the Burrow. It irks the hell out of me 😂 second worst movie, favorite book.

  9. "Is Snape double agent-ing it or double double agent-ing it?" That's the $64,000 question. Or maybe the £64,000 question actually. Well, at this point in the initial release of Harry Potter books – from the beginning of the book to long after finishing the book – I had to think long and hard (incidentally, I was also thinking about something long and… nevermind). It couldn't be possible that Dumbledore had been made an utter fool, that over his eyes had been pulled the wool… right? RIGHT!? Then I thought back to Harry Potter and the Prisoner Azkaban.

  10. Honestly, I felt foolish for not figuring out the identity of the Half-blood Prince earlier on than the reveal. I mean, Snape was the potions master, and perhaps one of the best wizards at potions ever, if not THE GREATEST. Also, in the books you find out that Snape is indeed half-blood with his mother being a witch, father a muggle, and that "Prince" actually alludes to his mother's surname. I always found it funny that Snape was a half-blood, yet he chose to be a Death Eater knowing that they are bigoted towards half-bloods alongside Muggle-borns. Also strange that Voldemort would accept a half-bloods.

  11. @TheDorkSideTV Since you're drawing close to the end of this epic, another one I think you might like is the 90's Gamera Triology. Gamera: Guaridan of the Universe (1995), Gamera 2: Attack of Legion (1996) and Gamera 3: Rvenge of Iris (1999).
