I feel like the neighbours dogs are going to cause a problem when it comes to selling/renting out the property… 😬
I love the longer ones. This video was great. As always! ❤from the Netherlands
A vintage dresser made into a vanity ! Or floating shelf with a bowl sink on top.
Most guest room bathrooms are single sinks
Wow the last Goodwill was loased with good suff! Thanks so much for sharing.🥰
You're lucky you get bags at all. Where I am they stopped using bags. You either have to bring your own or just carry everything out in your arms.
Should have got a toy for Milkshake, feel bad for poor Milkshake
Any habitat stores near you?
Why not just fill the gap either side of the vanity with a white fascia board to match the wall? Simple.
Regarding your vanity dilemma. Get a smaller one. Home Depot/ Floors and Decir sell 8 foot x 1" pieces of polished marbke/ granite . We used one for a threshold . Easy to cut. Put on sink top either side so it is dirt of like a backslash. The vertical sides on either side of walls can be filled in with solid vinyl cove molding (or painted wood)
I have used old dressers and put the bowl sink on top and they look great!!!! Seal the top of dresser several times!
you can close the gaps with wood or build in narrow cabinets on either size like medicine cabinets from ceiling to vanity.. YES double sink!!! must have..
i would love to help you guys.. !!
a little BB will work with that
The Goodwill bins are so different in different locations!
Finish the floor and leave a gap
"No holes." That was my favorite line!
Let me say that I am not a carpenter but I have an idea for your vanity problem. If you could get the vanity top to fit, you could get any vanity bottom and put wood on both sides. Then you could pit a piece of trim to cover up the wood . If you feel industrious you could make your own cement counter top. I know that I am not industrious . Thank you for sharing your content. I look forward to your next adventure.
Gumball advice (that's all I am good for): keep a note pad and pencil in the coin drop and write down the date and new subtotal each time… Hmmmm…. and I like the commenter's idea about sliding your vanity flush on one side, and in the gap, you could maybe install a mini slide-in shelving thing on wheels… to look like an intentional convenience… 🤔
Josh. Please let me know when the baby Groot goes on What Not. I want to bid on it. Thank you.
If it were me, I'd have a custom vanity made and then for the top I'd have a 2 sink countertop made from not used material from already done jobs. Countertop companies usually have extra from jobs already done that they will use for just that reason. A buddy of mine owns a granite and marble countertop company and he does that for customers all the time. Hope that helps and best of luck with what u end up deciding on.
Look for an old dresser or buffet and convert it to a vanity. So much cheaper.
Find a cute dresser and make a vanity out of it.. that would be soo cute
enjoyed this longer format!
That little dog really does say ‘arf arf’
I would price out the plumbing cost for making it two sinks. Add that to the double sink vanity. Then choose between that and the one that fits almost perfect.
Would you be able to trim out your gap and cover it. Center the vanity and trim the base then add a thicker backsplash around the top?
Could you add moulding on either side of the sink wall and paint or stain to match the vanity? Also check if there's a Habitat ReStore near you…they also have vanities too.
I’d investigate those tall thin spice rack type pull outs you get in fitted kitchens for your ‘gap’ as you could potentially store toiletries in the shelves If you can’t get one that is exactly the right size you can still buy the pull out mechanism and fashion something the right width But definitely the double sink
As for covering the gap at the counter level I’d try and make it a feature – perhaps a little tiled ledge where you could put a vanity tray or small faux plants or toothbrush mug etc
I WISH $4 for a plush was considered "paying up" at my local Goodwills
