  1. what video editor do you use <333 hopefully you reply. I low-key relate to what the book is about which is sad because my mum literally picks on how I look and Iā€™m very happy with myself <333 so maybe I need to read this book

  2. With the Ariana Grande thing, the book ends the acknowledgement say thanks to Ari. Clearly they're in good terms, she's been through therapy and worked on her feelings.

  4. Carley, I just thought you should know that I just bought three books so I could read them with you in one of your celebrity book club vlogs. You are now fuelling my book addiction to an unhealthy amount so thank you girlboss <3

  5. This book was so powerful, read it today in a few hours and learned so much. That is what I love more about books how they can teach you a lot, but mostly help you to empathize with other peoples experience.
Thank you Carley for another great video!

  6. Finished this a few days ago and Iā€™m excited to see what you have to say about it!

Watched the vid and I agree with you. This was such a well crafted memoir. You can tell she put a lot of effort into telling her story and putting purpose into it and I really appreciate that she didnā€™t do what a lot of other actors/YouTubers do. She had something to say and she slayed it!

I noticed a couple errors on the summary you were telling at the end!

    1) her momsā€™s ā€œgoal weightā€ for Jennette was 89 lbs. still horrible tho
    2) her mom actually didnā€™t wake up from her coma bc Jennette told her she was at her goal weight. She mentions that in the prologue that this is when she realized how serious it was and that she was going to die and leave Jennette without a sense of purpose in her life since her ā€˜purposeā€™ for so long was making her mom happy:(

I loved this vid! Please do more like this! I loved the end where you broke things down and went deeper into your thoughts about it. ā¤ļø

  7. I have literally NO idea about any of the people or TV youā€™re mentioning here! Nor have I ever heard of this book or was ever likely to read it BUT I love this video; how you put it together and how you describe things so Iā€™ve subscribed as I like the way your mind worksšŸ‘

  8. Kinda off topic but I donā€™t know why people are a ā€œNickelodeon girlieā€ or a ā€œDisney girlieā€ or ā€œfamily channel girlieā€ they all had so many re-runs all the time we could be all.

  9. I've been following her series on YouTube when she first started sharing stuff about herself not just the show and then her podcast etc and alot of the things she speaks about are just so raw and interesting and real. I also listed to Mara Wilson (matilda) but she's not brought out as much about herself really.
