That Champ meter is kinda bs with the way it just drops instantly from full charge to empty. Like, clearly the optimal play is to not miss anything, but failing that, it seems like you might get better score multipliers by strategically missing notes to keep it from filling up all the way.
(I also don't know how the multipliers work, maybe you don't get ANY unless it's full.)
