  1. This is such a great series I love it when hoard day comes because I know it's gonna be the best part of the video when they break in or surprise you threw a back door. Keep it up with the great content 👍👍

  2. Really enjoyed watching these eps so far man. Just a little tip on any POI is to follow to lights, candles, torches and so on. There is always a light to guide your path. Even more helpful when your in those BIG BOY Poi's. Also in the RED MESA there used to be 2-3 loot rooms. You found the main room. They may have changed it since the last time I looted it…. Bigger tip vehicle's have a go fast though I can't remember the button.

  6. @isyzen you guys should start mining for iron. It will allow you to have a full steel corridor and you should start investing on vault hatches instead of the iron ones that you use. Another protip is to turn off heat chunks sources and mine during the night. Also when you are mining avoid mining too much on one specific deposit for too long as it will attract screamers. Try to have multiple mine deposit OR basically create a 2 entrance mining hole so that if screamers do come they dont overwhelm you or you have an option to escape on the other entrance.

  7. Just a little tip my friend dont ever ride vehicles on horde night because it automatically spawns the birds on you when you are driving it had nothing to do with them being fast they just spawn on you

  8. Your base didn't have a chance once you destroyed the zombie pathing. If the zombies don't think they have a viable way of getting to you, they will start destroying blocks to make their own way to you. Great viewing though!

  9. Noooo dont get a tutorial. You almost have it. Make sure that they have a path to you. You can use drawbridges to make it have multiple entries. If one fails, close it and open another. As for the electric traps. Its best to go power switch, trap a to b. Then all you repair is b. Try not to link blade traps to each other. If one dies they all die.

  11. @iSyzen in episode 5 at around the 9 minute mark, @ImTheJames says he found the Tactical Assault Rifle Schematic, followed by "brain loading" text. Maybe thats why you couldn't find footage of you FINDING it? Cause you crafted it!

  12. If you want to make MONEY, not money, but MONEY, collect and sell weapons parts those add up quick and sell for a lot. But the real money maker in this game is repairing everything thats level 2-6 before selling it. If you have a level 6 anything it'll sell for a good amount but if you repair it, it drastically increases its sell amount. Now if you add mods to it then it gets real crazy like 5 thousand dollars for one item. Eventually you can just do that with everything as long as youve been taking everything.

  13. (Edit: horde base solution at end of comment)
An extremely helpful perk to go into is daring adventurer. You guys did so many quests you seriously wouldve had an infintely better time. Daring adventurer gives you more options for rewards and when you max it out, you get to choose 2. Including the tier completetion rewards so you couldve picked a motorcycle and the 5000 coin or whatever. Also better barter at level 3 gives the traders secret stash better and better loot as you go to 4 and lvl 5. That can get you set up pretty good early on. Its usually how I get my drone asap. Speaking of, the drone bro you gotta get one theyre amazing. Its mobile storage that follows you around and warns you of zombies and can heal you when you hit 50% hp. If you give it first aid that is. Also use pick axes on doors if you HAVE to break it down. I know youve been told this already but every building is a "poi" not just the big ones. Every random house is too. And theyre all whats called "dungeon style" where theres a path you take, 99% of the time you should not ever need to break a block to get to the main loot. Look for light sources they point the way. But iron and steel doors use a pick axe. OH ALSO those ahem C4? lol theyre not c4 lol theyre timed charges meant for cracking open safes lol they do tons of block damage but not damage damage. Same with dynamite vs pipe bombs. Dynamite for blowing up buildings and holes into the ground and pipe bombs are for killing and on the rocket launcher (which is amazing btw) has the "HE" rockets which are block damage and little zombie damage. The rocket frags are for killing zombies. Idk man theres so many different ways to play this game and like, you guys arent wrong for playing it how you want to. I'm just informing what generally people do and how devs intended it. And ill make a seperate comment for horde base and why ur new design doesnt work. But itll be long. Actually its because you need to trick them into falling into that pit. You gotta make them think they can cross that gap when they can't basically. So super small chode shaped blocks at the end of the pit they walk on then those same half wedges under half walls they think they can walk on those but they cant and then they will fall. So to clarify: ur pathway is 4 blocks wide. On the sides use the half wall (not the centered one) it'll be on the top right of the menu, now continue that wall across the gap. Now for the gap do a 2×2 upside down (flat part on top) "wedge 60" put the flat sides together and facing up to make a skinny little chode lol(its suppose to look like a long upside down triangle) but only 2 blocks long right? Idk man, Its a chode. Lol anyway now remember how I said continue the half wall across? Well underneath that is where the wedge 60s that you used on the chode go. Same orientation as each side of the chode. So left wall will have the wedge flat part flush with the wall and the ramp part on the right side with its point facing down. The zombies will think they can walk from the chode to those upside down inaccessible (cuz theyre flush with the wall) wedges and will just fall. Thats you solution to ur horde base loop problems. Also the robo sledge turret is designed for this purpose, as in, they run along a path to you and when they get to you it knocks them off forcefully making them start again. If you max out robotics inventor you can have 2 sledge turrets going at the same time and if you have a lvl 6 you can put mods in it to make it fire faster but the perks from robo inv will also do that. So zombies shouldnt be able to get past that. Especially if you gave them a winding path in the air of 90° turns with a block they have to jump over every other block (will slow them down immensely) they stumble a lot and having sledges at those points will knock them off making them start again. So ya. There's the 2 best horde base designes imo. 1. What ur doing now(but functional lol:p) and 2. the sledge turret design. Both work insanely well. Also just a horde base building tip. If zomebies have to go down to reach you they WILL NOT go up. Like even if they have to go up 1 block to reach you but ur down they just wont and vice versa. So the old pit base from back in the day of dig giant hole and build a roof over out of bars to shoot through down on them, they'll just beat on the support and not go in the hole. Because you're up, they will not go in the pit. So you gotta trick them. I hope all this helps and dear god im so sorry its so long lol
