  1. Dude you should hit Montana soon! The skiing up there is absolutely sick right now. Whitefish looks amazing and same with Big sky. I’m headed up to Bridger Bowl tomorrow and I’m super pumped! So if you’re looking for great skiing in the relatively early season, Montana’s having a great start!

  2. Lucas, Gopro question here. I'm running a Hero 8 this season and I'm wondering if using hypersmooth boost is worth the crop or if I could use a lower level of stabilization for a better FOV?

    Also, Happy New Year!

  3. Hey lucas, i watch ever single video and live. I was just curious what your opinion on the park city ski patrol union strike. If you cannot speak on it due to being a public figure i understand but just wanted to hear your thought. Keep shredding and have a safe season. Cant wait for more vids. Happy NY brotha!!!

  4. If you ever decide to check out a yard sale those Pivots will be your best friends.. That core shot really sucks I thought they had way more snow than that out there. It will come and the snow gods will deliver.

  5. i know you did a video on boots and that you have a boot guy.. the last time i went skiing i almost did not get my foot into my boots.. then when i get them in the boots i almost separate my shoulders trying to buckle them.. even with all that one of my pairs of skis my feet still move around in the boot.. i think it is because the skis are longer and when i am carving there is so much torque.. i have 2 other pairs of boots that i picked up at the thrift store that are bigger and i would have to set my demo bindings accordingly but i might try them..

it does suck that you got a core shot.. it does make sense that you kept skiing on them.. i had a pair of demo skis that one of the skis was blown out at the heel that i first saw as i was waiting for the bus to take me to the hill.. i still skied 6 runs on them before i demoed another pair.. it just takes a lot.. especially on busy days..

also cool that you have sponsors to sponsor your videos..

wow you had some long lines..

that was so cool watching Austin at Cole Sports fix your ski..

  6. Aside from Pivot's having a tighter, more secure connection to the boot than other bindings, increasing skier confidence, they're the only binding that has a toe piece that has a vertical release and a rotating, pivoting heel. I don't really "feel" anything different when skiing my Pivot's compared to Jester's or Attacks, the "feeling" is essentially the same, it's the overall safety of the Pivot binding that is far superior to Marker/Tyrolia's due to having a vertical toe release and rotating heel, they're safer bindings.

  7. One of the amazing parts of the pivots are the heel piece mobility. Your heel can move away from the ski quite a bit without ejecting you. When it does you can feel the flex and then release. To me it makes a more smooth and controlled fall, or sometimes, you stay in and ride it out.

Were supposed to be in Utah next month. Hopefully your snow levels catch upto the PNW. Our home mountain has a 60 inch base at 4.5k elevation.

  8. Armada please send this man a need pair of walkers!! And some magic J ul’s👀👀. Think it would be cool to see you demo some declivities for a video but that’s probably not really something the whole crowd would be interested in
