Well done with the photography and helping the less abled people,, Best Wishes from Germany, today watched the Xmas stores being put up.
(Barry Craner) I used to go to the cinema back in the 70s also remember Curlys motorcycles used to be on Clive road and the driving center used to be part of the old royal enfield factory buildings in the same spot it is now
Hello Roy, This video I really enjoyed. I used to go to the Toledo Cafe in 1966. It had a good selection of Rock and Roll singles in the jukebox so was a popular venue with the motorbike fraternity. Hardings Coaches garage was next door on the corner. I was a regular in The Station Inn of a Friday night. Excellent pints of mild beer and a vendor wouls come round selling jellied eels and cockles from a wicker basket. Always rolled out happily at closing time and roared off on my Royal Enfield 500 Bullet (before the days of speed cameras and breathalizers).
Beautiful countryside
