  1. You certianly used to be able to get telescopic ratchets like that in the UK. I have a "Newsomes" branded telescopic flex head 3/3ths ratchet bought from Beal workshop supplies years ago for not a lot of money. It's great.

  2. About the zollstock, the direct literal translation is inch-stick. Quite frankly the only thing we still have in imperial units 😛 In Estonia, where I am from, we call it "tollipulk", meaning exactly the same, stick with inches on it.

  3. Love these types of video. Would love for this to be a series: too 10 cool/weird tools from different countries. I’d love to see packs made up of local/international brands that most of us to see.

  4. I've got a lovely folding rule, which has a kind of "vernier", s smaller 20 cm sliding scale, so that you can use it in odd spaces, where 2x fold is too much. And 20 cm not enough… But, wait.. The sliding part has a little hook onto the second folder, which is used to set, or read, an angle!

  5. Have had a pair of Wurth drivers for a few decades now, they've been worked hard continuously and never once stopped, insanely good quality.
Also, that telescopic racket, got one of them about 15 years ago in a market here in Ireland, it's a great tool

  6. Dude I love the extendable ratchet. I’m a carpenter so I don’t wrench much but when I do it’s usually on large hardware where leverage is needed.

So my boss had one in the shop that was never being used. He’s bad with his tools so anything not in use will quickly rust, disappear, or be demoed for parts. I took the extendable 1/2 ratchet and stuck in on my truck, and we used it for a couple weeks on jobs here and there. Well when my boss’ right hand man saw that I was sporting our bosses ratchet, he made me put it back in the shop because it’s not mine (I’m still doin the work here bub) and I told him it’ll just rust or get lost somewhere. Anyway fast forward a month and nobody has seen it around 🙄 Great move Jose, let your silly ego battle deprive us of a good tool that I was taking good care of
