  1. To me, My Time at Portia seems like it was released recently (around 2017) and has got a sequal in five years time? (especially since this game is underrated or should i say, not very popular)? The game is very high quality as well! I have watched a live stream from another person playing Portia. If i had to choose which to play between the two, i normally always go with the one that was released first (in this case, Portia then Sandrock)

PS love the fact that there are voice actors!

  2. Wow this game looks huge! I would definetely say the most standout aspect of the game to me is the uniqueness of the setting, creatures, and little features here and there that I have not seen in other games. Thanks for the amazing video Sarah

  3. Ok I was casually interested in this game before, but now I'm actively interested in it. Looks so good! Thanks for the video, Sarah! ☺and my favorite feature is the water conservation aspect. It completely makes sense as you're in a desert, but it's not something I've encountered a lot in games, and it looks very interesting!

  4. I think my genuinely favourite thing about this game is the graphics and the art design. I absolutely love it!!!! Seeing you play it like this has definitely inspired me to buy it myself!! ❤

  5. i played My Time at Portia early access and it felt really awkward to play (obviously a fair expectation out of an EA title) but it definitely kept my attention for a while, i stopped playing before it "launched", and then seeing them moving on to this was a little unfortunate that there wouldn't be anything more/dlc/etc, and i haven't been back to MTAP since before it launched even, but i'm glad they at least seemed to work on the flaws from that game into this one

honestly, it feels like my favorite feature, despite not even being "new" to this game, is just being voice acted, it's such an easy-to-miss-not-really-necessary-addition to games that really makes it feel… i dunno… comfy? i'd rather be told a story, i mean you get all bundled up to play a cozy game and it feels like someone's there guiding you, rather than just "here's your story, enjoy it on your own"

it's all this extra effort put into a game that feels very easy to get desensitized to if it's everywhere, but when you play games without it, it just kinda feels… empty? not like "awful", but it just feels like there's always "something missing" in a game that isn't voice acted, all these faces but no talking, like, i could just read a book by myself, and imagine the voices, or play a game with no talking and just reading and making up voices on my own in my head, or i could turn a game on and have someone there talking TO me, and it just feels like an extra bit of "oomph" added to the game, just by simply adding in more emotion and expressions rather than exclamation marks and multiple question marks over and over to exaggerate important feelings

  6. I have been playing MtaS since it released last year and is one of my favorite games.

Peperbird has given you some good beginner tips! Just to let you know about quests: Orange is for main quests and they advance the story. Blue is for side quests that you can get, be careful as some of these are time sensitive and they will list how long you have to complete them in the mission tab. Green is for commissions.

You reaaaaally want to get some dew collectors up and running soon. As that will be one your main sources of collecting water. (You convert dew into water on your work table)

  7. Also I am Texan, and it's obvious for some of the NPCs they did try going for a Texan accent, and they did a decent job lol. Others do have a more typical Southern accent.
