Dude, you’re going to have to play their game if you want to make real change unfortunately. This will cost you some money though. You’re going to have to hire an attorney that specializes in this kind of ordnance nonsense, unless you can find one that just wants to get their name out there and file a lawsuit on behalf of the community. If you go the county council route you will need to do research on how to change ordinances and perhaps hire an environmentalist and do your own surveys especially on the effects of the sun and skin cancer and how having umbrellas combats that, but your probably need expert help and guidance in how those meetings run. Good luck and I will be watching to see how you guys handle this because you guys are doing a good thing here.

He didn't brandish a weapon, no need to go there. My parents owned a home on lake michigan so familiar with the issues. Trash ALWAYS a problem, drunken parties, yelling and screaming, dogs barking etc… Make sure you stay on the right side of this thing.

As a person who lives in the state of Texas, one of the biggest states, people would not stand for this if you go to California, or you go to a state with beaches, or if you maybe even go to people who live in countries with beaches, and ask them to come to where you are at and say, does your place Have a violation rule against umbrellas and tents. They will say no they do not. It is amazing to me a college student or university student who is in law or business major to see this type of action going on in the state of Florida Florida yes will make up this rule, but it is unconstitutional to have a rule like this. If you think it is right to deny people to be on your beach, you should not even be on that beach yourself because if you are not letting people use umbrellas or tents and they get cancer that is on the person who denied them the right to have those things to protect them from cancer and I hope the person, who denies them that right gets sued we are a constitutional country we do not we should not have laws that are unjust and unconstitutional as a law student that is downright ridiculous and like I’ve been seen before and I’ll say it again it’s unconstitutional if you agree or disagree I don’t care care what people think I it is unconstitutional
Also JOOGSQUAD Keep exposing those people you have a right to do it just like everybody else has a right to do it keep doing what you’re doing. The legacy will never die, even if you’re put to rot in jail, you’re legacy will never die
