  1. This is such a great project! And I completely forgot I can use my old 3080 to make PCBs. I need to try that. Inspirational as usual, Nik. Thanks and keep up the great work!

  3. These plastic servos are quite painful to use and "iffy". I would suggest using MG90 instead of the SG90 used. For some reason the MG90s are a bit smoother to use and operate..
    PS – you could "drop-in replace" SG90s with MG90s

  4. ESA scholarship? That's just too awesome 🙂

Nice PCB – I like CNC made ones for typical projects that don't need sub-millimeter rasters etc. No soldermask is not really a problem, and if you need more reliability, you can always use conformal coating afterwards.

Looks like you're getting close to 100k subs! Gonna make a silverplate project like Dave Jones (EEVBlog) did?

  5. Interesting, but how can it improve life on earth for the rest of us, seeing as such things will never, ever see the surface of Mars. Would think there would be more humanity-centric projects right here, where we all live.

  6. Impressive work Nik. couple of questions if you would please. 1- Do you have any though to have more control on the jerkiness of the servos? is it that you need to have PID controller for instance or is it about controlling servos speed through algorithms. 2- would you please suggest an online course or book to master PCBs design. 3- which motor deriver model you are using? the link did not work. Thanks Alooot Nik.
