Just to give a lil background to Blaidd. Blaidd was created for the sole purpose to help Ranni with whatever she wants to do is right, as long as she doesnt stray away from the path of the Golden Order and becomes the Elden Lord. If she strays away from that path and chooses for something else, he will go insane as the bond will be broken and could potentially be a threat to Ranni herself, as him being near her and her doing that what will break the bond between them, could lead her to be killed and probably devoured by him too (cause wolf).
I dont know if I am 100% right but thats atleast what I understood so far.
