  1. The game is actually pretty good for me. I loved it. Only one complaint. Soft spoilers below.

My only complaint is that Team Star deserved everything they got and their boss should be in federal prison for what that person did. Two wrongs do not make a right and becoming a bully just to get back at bullies doesn't make you any less of one. They did hoodrat shit and deserved to be expelled. Their sob story does not make it ok. Their story was just awful.

It does not even make sense….WHY would they be bullied? They went to a school centered on pokemon and battling and they were fucking good at it. It makes 0 sense why they'd be bullied for a little eccentrism when they could easily spank most if not any student who talked shit.

  2. For me the introduction of overworld shinies and especially mass outbreaks kills the game completely. Shiny hunting was the only thing i enjoyed left and its been completely and utterly nullified. There’s literally no hunt anymore. Depressing 🙁 was actually at least exited to get new pokemon i was interested in but i ended up not getting the game out of sheer disappointment.

  4. Finally a review thats acutally realistic and fair
Not either blinded by hatred or by fanboy eyes
Yes this game its problematic on the performance side and the bugs and it still has some very old game designs that it didnt change
But its still one if the most fun pokemon games in my opinion
And its not painful to go through
And acutally sometimes the bugs can be quite funny
I hope that they get fixed with a patch if they dont thats gonna lower my score but its still very good
Later on after many will have completed the game i would love to hear aore in fepth review with spoilers too so i can hear more of your opinions to it

  5. They literally made an open world with Impossible gym battles because high lvl pokemon won't listen to you if you don't have enough medals and gym leaders team don't change based on the amount of badges you have.
So you still have to do gyms in a specific order. Just because pokemon textures are better, they are still kinda bad. The game is a fucking visual mess and there are continuous frames drop.
Map is fucking awful, empty as fuck and some items you have to reach by jumping with MiraidonKoraidon which can bump into tiny pokemon because their hurtbox is huge not only by jumping but also by walking and it's unlikely that you can spot a fucking fletchling hidden in the grass or a wooper swimming in water when the mount leggendary is huge.
Game is just a big mess, it's fun to play because the core elements of pokemon are still intact but other than that it can get really frustrating. Getting teleported back when you jump in team star bases because they have to take a shit ton of space for no reason was bullshit. What's the point of making a open world if you are going to handhold the player the entire time, might as well make a good designed linear game, oh that's right gotta milk the fucking franchise and release unfinished mess one after the other.

  6. Will for sure not buy these games brand new, too many shenanigans like removing contents and releasing the game clearly unfinished resulting in silly bugs and horrid performance, but if it's a step in the right direction then it gives me slight hope for the next titles and I might even buy them used in a year or two depending on what gets fixed and what gets released.

Without playing them I can still say that terrastilise is so much better than dynamax, it's kinda fun and the new pokemons are great. Removing the set battle style tho? What's the point? Like seriously, is the set battle style option such a hard thing to implement?
