  1. All I’ve got to say to everything you said in this video is “Amen, brother!”
I always use USPS. Once I bought a card on eBay and it clearly said in the sellers description that they use USPS. But for some reason, they decided to switch it up and mail it using UPS without asking/telling me. Guess what happened? I never got that package! After months of correspondence with the shipper (UPS) and the seller, all I got was excuses. Finally the seller gave me a partial refund. Never got an answer from UPS. Let’s just say I could write a small chapter on reasons why I don’t and won’t use UPS.
I’ve had a little better experience with FedEx. A bit more mixed results but I’m still very cautious about using them. I try to keep any usage of them to a minimum. Just like you said, “Don’t be an idiot!” USPS is the way to go.
Man, I hope people are taking your advice in this video seriously!

  2. Your right about the mailmen. My Canada Post mailman texts me to let me know when I have a package and he walks up and puts the packages at the side of my house instead of leaving a high end card in the mailbox.

  3. Hmm yea I think it depends on area and workers. I’ve been doing FedEx receive psa orders signature confirmation and have never had it not delivered prob 20 for 20 no issues. Most items I eBay I do ship usps and 4 fig cards insure signature but stopped doing it cause it goes to auth guarantee so I’m like waste of $. I just wild card it mostly prob 2 of 100 sales becomes nightmare but decent advice and worries. Hence why I don’t like 5 fig cards I would think vaults are better for that but only if you have hookups and volume 😂😂😂

  4. Sold a $3k BGS 10 Pristine One Piece card on ebay recently. Went to auth guarantee, passed auth, Fedex never got it to the buyer from ebay. Ebay ate the card. Fedex workers know the ebay packaging. Smh.

  5. today i went to the post office to ask about a package that went missing. insured for $2500 from japan. tracking says it was delivered but i never signed for it or received it. i filed INR claims for the cards purchased using paypal. and usps claim for missing package. but am worried the tracking showing delivered will deny my claims. i will be out not only the $2500 but the time i put into buying those cards and the profits i was hoping to make from them

  6. Alright youve finally sold me on a PO box. I have a great usps office and a great UPS guy and i take care of them. Usps knows what i do for a living so they hold anything bigger than an envelope for me anyway. But that authenticy guarantee hack is worth it alone.

  7. Years ago I worked for UPS for a few years loading trucks early in the morning. Simply put I didn't give a shit about any package, I didn't care how I handled any packages and most of my coworkers didn't either. It was by far the most toxic environment i've ever worked in. They are union for a very good reason, management is horrible, and it is very much union vs management.

You can forget about anyone actually getting fired and staying fired. I saw guys get into full fledge fist fights, they were "fired" which in turn the union fought and ended up being an extra two weeks paid vacation for them and they were back on the job. They tried to fire me in retaliation for reporting them to OHSA. I only ended up with a 2 day paid vacation for that since that was such a slam dunk. The only person I ever saw get fired and stay fired was a woman who showed up maybe 3 days a weeks no call no show for a few years, finally the firing stuck.

Packages came open all the time sometimes bad packing, sometimes its just the literal miles of conveyor belts your packages have to thru and if there is a jam and you have a light package and some heavy comes and slams it open it comes. What happens to contents? depends what it was, sometimes they "disappeared" since there is little to no security, sometimes they were destroyed, sometimes they just got taped back up.

  8. The mail men are good! I put a PWE with $5 in in with a thank you and a smile face on it in my mailbox whenever I mail a lot of orders out becuase they have to scan it in and I show my appreciation for that plus I also get good feedback how fast they receive cards! What about ebay under $20 sending grading cards?

  9. I totally agree with you about treating the USPS workers nicely. I have been very welcoming to our local delivery guy and he actually dates my wife from time to time. He truly cares about my packages and I never have any issues. He shows Sandra a great time and I just couldn’t agree more with you SCV. Thanks brother, great video

  10. 6+ years selling part time on ebay I FULLY recommend Usps over the other 2. Its funny hearing you talk about chasing the fedex guy because I've chased them and ups . It's ridiculous.
I've watched them literally drive by , park down the block for 30 seconds and dip and claim they delivered it and plan on delivering it the next day or next business day. Or they run up and stick the tag on and take off.

  11. SCV Sports Cards is juiced to the gills and unleashing his roid rage on innocent postal workers. FedEx and USPS need to have the DEA intercept all packages sent from Mexico to SCV…loaded boxes full of hulk pills and anabolic nectar. Take SCV's gear and he will relax a bit while also shrinking back down to Jeff Wilson's size. You SCV nut riders also aint got nothing to say bout the fact SCV is dodging Santiago Sports. Imagine SCV chasing Molly the Mail Lady down the street in a fit of roid induced rage, not a pretty picture

  12. My USPS guy is great. His house burned down a few years ago and his son lost his sports card collection. It was in the newspaper. I saw him a few days later and I told him to stop by the house on his day off with his son. I gave him a Hall of Fame bat, from Cooperstown (I purchased several when we lived in New York). I also gave his son some sealed sets from the 80’s and 90’s. Just to help his son get another start in the hobby. The father and son started crying. Didn’t really cost me much, but now he treats me like some celebrity. You’re right about DHL, they are good to use! High end things I buy goes through DHL. Great suggestion on the PO box. I use to have one for the business. Looks like I should get another. Thanks for sharing!

  14. I know you don't deal with standard envelope much through ebay. I will give you some back informaiton. The tracking is only done by the sorting machine at major post offices, so once it leaves that post office it is marked as delivered prior to actually making it to the mail box. If you claim item not receivd and it is marked as delivered they will decline the claim, and the buyer is out the money. I have a buyer that claims they have not recived the card, even though it shows as delived so I am not covered by shipping insurance and ebay would deny the claim. It is a $14 card, so nothing to really worry about. How would you handle the situation?

  15. I sent a package to a consignment via USPS priority and they lost it. Still never found. Had 1k worth of cards gone. I didnt get insurance and they didnt even pay me the included insurance that comes with it because they said time lapsed but they were the ones who told me to wait to see if it can be found
