Welcome to 2024โฆ we can FINALLY say that we will be riding Hyperia โ the UKโs tallest and faster roller coaster โ this year!! I return to the rides construction site at Thorpe Park and show you all of the latest work that has been taking place on the ride. From new supports and track being installed, to the construction of the rides brand new giftshop! The next few months are going to be so exciting for this record breaking roller coaster!

Me and my friend were talking about hyperia and he called it the Big Mac lmao. Iโm so excited because this will be my first big mack coaster. Thatโs where the name Big Mac came from lmao

I remember when this was first announced in December 2021 now its January 2024 and we're almost there.
imagine if thorpe park went for a full sized coaster and not one thatโs 2 seconds long

It feels like it was only a few weeks ago there were rumours there would be a new ride. Itโs crazy how fast itโs gone by.
After Hyperia, the next coaster at Thorpe Park I want to see is a Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster themed to Wallace & Gromit called โWallace & Gromitโs Ultimate Thrill Machineโ because then it could have a world record named โThe Worldโs First Wallace & Gromit Themed Roller Coasterโ.

Trim brakes are often used also to control external elements such as a tail wind on this section of the ride

Take note that those extra trims are actually just the brackets. You can see the actual metal fins aren't there. Most likely as a precaution in case it does go into the outerbank a bit too quick, but it looks like it was designed to be without trims through there.

Does anyone know where the locomotives and carriages of the Canada Creek railways are going after being restored? And what is going to happen to them?
I am aware that a Treasure Island Railway locomotive is currently running at Hayling Island.
