Human Touch Clothing

Have you ever thought about how your fashion garments are made? Every step and process? Juliet Seger and Christina Albrecht had that exact thought when founding the fashion brand Human Touch

Using inks on the fingers of the people that make the garments (the technique of paint-sewing), THE HUMAN TOUCH of manufacturing becomes literally imprinted on the garment, creating an all over abstract print. It makes me think of the way Francis Bacon described his own paintings of the essence of his subjects passing through the canvas. In the same way, the essence of the people greeting these garments pass through the finished garment.

It is not very often that we are stopped in our tracks by a concept in fashion but this one really has, its simplicity in execution allows the complexity of the concept to really have room to breathe and envelop the viewer.

The brand is still in its infancy so are finding their feet but we see massive potential with them and cannot wait to see what they do next.
