Round and round they go. Hub caps of every description are on display in this installment of the Hubcap Game. But another game is brewing as Rudolph Dieselhead encounters some new competition as Lockjaw enters the scene.
When i had a Oldsmobile Omega, lost a wheel cover, went to a junk yard & found a set of 4 Olds wire wheel covers from the 60's or earlier. They were stainless steel no plastic.
Hey Steve had any luck finding a 65 Starfire in the yard? I owned one in 1975. It was medium green with white leather interior. That car would burn the right rear off very easily. Keep up the Awesome work with the videos.
I think that plastic sentra wheel was actually a nissan 240sx wheel cover on the base car. Can't believe nissan used such a cheap wheel on a sports car
Steve have you considered maybe Doing some Sunday night lives questions and a answers or any other nights. Especially with Winter coming there in Massachusetts. I will be all over that. 🤷♂️👍Great Videos Steve from San Diego.
Thanks Steve! Those old plastic GM/Nissan covers-ugh! But, the Checker is cool, and in no particular order, the big 53 Buick, the 51 Dodge, the Ford V8, the Imperial, and the full size Chevy.
Hey Steve, not to pick you apart because I think you do a really really good job. You’re extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining but there was one hubcap you held up and you said it was American motors and it said Pontiac right on the front said Pontiac motor division anyway just wanted to point that out. Thanks for doing such a great job.
Fun fact about the Checker Marathon hubcap: Studebaker used the same stamping from the same supplier in around 1962. You'd see them on the Hawks and similar with the lazy S, but after Stude folded Checker took on the wheel covers, but with the CMC crest. They'd use that cover through end of production, mid-1982.
"lockjaw" = "tetanus" 🤣 not sure everyone caught that.
Awesome
Steve is amazes how does he know all this and what they go on crazy 😧

Your knowledge never ceases to amaze me! Keep ‘em coming!
Funny how the second hub cap you said was American Motors has PONTIAC MOTORS DIVISION.🤔
Hey Steve… the AMC cap is a pontiac cap… have a relook or have lockjaw clean your specs… lol

I'd keep Lockjaw and bury the rotting Rudolph.
When was and who made the first Hub Centric rims?
Holding hubcap with PONTIAC written on it: "This is an AMC or Rambler cap…." Just busting your balls, Steve. Keep up the good work!
I worked at McNarmara Buick Pontiac and GMC
84 To 88.
From crap to GNX
1:06 is 1963 Pontiac Tempest. “Pontiac “ is clearly visible in the outer edge.
11:51 is Oldsmobile not Buick.
Steve, I was waiting for you to get to the '68 Nova wheel cover.
Another great Hubcap Game Steve! I always look for either mascot in each video, kinda like "where's Waldo", 😆.

Malaise era cars was the wheel cover generation of cars.

Good stuff. Wonder if the owners have any pics from years past to maybe see how some of those cars looked 20 or 30 years ago?
Thanks Steve! Those old plastic GM/Nissan covers-ugh! But, the Checker is cool, and in no particular order, the big 53 Buick, the 51 Dodge, the Ford V8, the Imperial, and the full size Chevy.
Awwww man, I thought you were going to go over all three Pontiac 6000 wheel covers! Save it for next time. 😂😂
Hey Steve pretty sure 9:05 is an Old Oldsmobile – early 50's – not Buick…….
Next mascot needs to be named Tetanus.
why bless your heart another hub cap game
I think you boo booed there Mr Steve, that's a Pontiac cap, not AMC near the beginning..
I had a 1978 Pontiac Sunbird. Yup, those were on my car.
What an awesome thing to come home to after work. The hubcap game on the big screen! Thx Steve!
Thanks for the daily vids Mr. Steve. I look forward every morning here in Alaska. I just bought a 90 Toyota PU I would like to hear about one. Cool
When you've gone through the entire van, are you going to put all of those caps back?
A farmer down the road from me has a hubcap nailed to every fence post for half a mile. Hub caps never die.

Steve, you know practically EVERYTHING, but how do you mistake the hubcap that says PONTIAC MOTOR DIVISION on it, for AMC?
More please
Sorry Steve the hubcap @ 1:02 you called American Motors has Pontiac Motor Division stamped on it. 🤔
Pontiac!!
Complete wheel covers are Not Hub Caps. Hub caps cover only the Hubs
Hey Steve any update on your Police Plymouth car ?
Love the hub cap game, lockjaw… not so much.
The Checker. From 1922 to 1982.
Good to see the game still going, my favorite is the old Dodge wheel cover, love those!!!
Man those 40s and 50s hubcaps looks way cooler than the ones from the 60s, 70s and 80s! Great stuff Steve!👌😎👍
