  1. im seeing alot of comments asking the same question so let me answer them:

    1. What if i dont 1 shot the pokemon?

-if you dont one shot it and it nullifies your boosts (this is unavoidable even with his Good as Gold ability), just reboost 3 times with Nasty Plot and use hex until you can tera. That will finish the battle. Keep in mind you CANT Metal Sound when it has tera shield up.

    2. Whats the turn order?

    GHOLDENGO-
Nasty Plot x3 > Metal Sound x3 > Steel Beam or Hex. Make sure you NP first because the bosses cleanse negative effects within the first few turns most of the time. Also make sure to recover inbetween when needed. At times I dont even need x3 MS and just settle for 2.

    IRON HANDS-
Belly Drum > Either spam Drain Punch or use Close Combat if you think you can OHKO the boss. Spamming Drain Punch gets you an easy tera and keeps you alive forever if you want to go that route.

    3. My AI isnt statusing the boss, what do I do?

If you get a dunsparce or a drifblim, 9 times out of 10 they will burn or paralyze the boss. If you dont get one, try refreshing your 6 stars or restart your game. If that doesnt work then steel beam should one shot it regardless. You could also just use Shadow Ball, itll just be down to you finishing off its tera shield. You dont need hex at all to win, its just nice to one shot bosses with.

ALSO ADAMANT FOR HANDS I FORGOT

  2. Anyone got an idea on how to beat volcarona fairy tera type? As he mentioned in video volcarona is good sp.atk so you shouold use iron hands. But since fighting is only 0.5 effective vs fairy it doesn't work out that well. And have to use recover every 1-2 turn if using goldengho

  4. I found how you loose.
Ghost, multiscale, dragon dance, light screen, dragonite.

You are dead in turn 3. always. and then he has like 3 dragondances set up.

I used substitute and need intimidate + like 2 aqua tail misses.
To have a chance to hit.
But it prolly won’t even die

  5. There are multiple one shot tactics:
    1) The goldengho showcased in this video is a great example, if you don't want to sac to use steel beam, you can use make it rain instead combined with the held item clear amulet, so not only is your goldengho immune to status effects it will also not be lowered by any effects such as intimidate, the spatk drop from make it rain and so on.
    2) Belly drum Iron hands, this mon is great especially since it can heal all the way back with a single drain punch but usually a belly drum close combat should one shot. If not, he can finish the rest since he probably isn't dying anytime soon.
    3) Annihilape, this mon learns rage fist, which is a base power 50 ghost type stab move, but every time he gets hit, the move's base power increases by 50, making it a max 350 base power stab attack, pair this with 3 bulk ups for +3 atk and def, 3 screeches for -6 def on the enemy and a one shot is guaranteed no matter the typing match up.
There are probably way more pokémon who are able to one shot 6 star raids but these are the ones I use most and they almost always work.

  6. Thank you for these! Using the instructions in this video, I put together both a Gholdengo and an Iron Hands. My experience has been that using Iron Hands is more consistent than using Gholdengo. Drain Punch on Iron Hands is especially good to solo the raids. More often than not, when I set up with Gholdengo, the stats just got nullified not soon after. So my personal preference is the Iron Hands.

  7. To think that I had only been using my Iron Hands at half capacity he was doing well already on 5 star raids, but now that I have 6 star raids unlocked I’ll be preparing for those. To quote Hassel “Full marks! Gold star! Extra credit even!” I will be trying out both of these when I find my first 6 star
