90s Atmospheric Drum & Bass typically involved creative, long, soaring intros that sucked you into what was going to be an 8+ minute journey. Let’s take a look at how to create something similar in 2023 #musicproduction #bitwigstudio #atmosphericdnb

Last one for 2023 – thanks again all. See you in 2024
Sublime track, very PFM-like. Thanks for all the good tutorials this year and looking to more in 2024.
Man I love this channel thanks for the info! Do you make your own Bryce graphics?
Absolutely love! Appreciate our similar mindsets on atmospheric idealism.
I'd love to see you break down KMC Orbiting Probes using these general concepts. 🙂 https://youtu.be/JRsvq0BzCxs?si=a87ClVrhe5NbqC76
The break is giving me Lemon D Going Gets Tough vibes. 🙂 What is your approach to breaks? Are you sampling tunes, using sample packs, rebuilding from 1st and 2nd gen original samples? You've got a great ear for making the mid 90s beats as well as the musical side.
Surprised you’re not an Omnisphere user for making atmospheric spaces
As always your content really is superb, much appreciated. Really enjoying your pads/atmos sample packs too. Not making anything near your level but trying!
My jaw dropped when you played the pad. So lush ❤
I know your style focuses quite a lot on ethereal, lush, ambient Jungle, but would you consider doing something on the darker side of Jungle/DNB?
i love your channel so much
Your intro should give the DJ time to mix your song in without clashing with the last track
Very nice, thanks.
Dude… your channel is just going to blow up. Fire bangers even on holidays. Can you do a video explaining more of your vgm soundtrack ideas?
any actual examples of older songs like the style being replicated here ?
Yea lets bring back 2 min intros!👏
Another great sounding track. Thanks again for all you do. Happy Holidays. Just got the rest of the sample packs for Christmas, they are amazing. Happy to see the chord stabs in there now too.
I definitely love these long drawn out intros, a while back I talked about how music has gotten shorter, and when I say music I'm mostly talking about the mainstream demand. I think there is a lack of modern lengthy intros that needs to be explored and experimented with. I'm happy to see you making a tutorial on this !
Superb content mate. Love your videos. I'm also in the process of really exploring this side of Jungle/D&B.
I'm specifically interested in the pads. Are they all basically stock sounds within the Korg Trinity/Trition? I have the Wavestation, Omnisphere, JV2080 and JD990 but those style pads and the chords you play to generate that sound is what I'm missing.
Hope you had a great Christmas and have a good New Year. 😊
Although I wasn't born then, i do wonder how it would've been like to live at a time where music couldn't be accessed as easily as today. I think this is absolutely great to have this accessibility, however it does mean that the average person will not sit through long songs and won't be able to appreciate it as much.
Absolute banger of a video and track. Cheers!
