  1. Wow. This is easily the best Guide I've seen for Gleeok farming. Most rely on crazy Zonai builds that can be tricky to get right. You just got a Thumbs up and a Subscriber. Gonna have to check out other videos you made.

  2. So I avoided Lionel’s and Gleeoks for most of the game because I was scared. But when I finally went to fight them, i defeated them easily hahahahha
I think if you’re smart about your fight then it is pretty straight forward.

  3. You defeated several when you had fewer hearts and less stamina than I do now? I’m just a scaredy cat, I haven’t even confronted one of these yet, just seen them from a distance and thought nope! 😭

  4. – A little North of the Frost Gleeok is a structure that can be easily used for ascend, but
    – That Frost Gleeok went into some kind of second phase on me, where it stayed in the air and summoned a storm dropping icicles all around me. Those were quite useful to get up in the air by climbing them and using time reverse
    – That trick is also nice to get up to hovering Flux Constructs when they throw a row of cubes, evade the cubes attack, jump on one and time reverse it
    – When you get these schema stones from constructs, conveniently with materials, try them out immediately at the material depot, as it typically leads to some chest.

  5. I wish these games had some actually hard enemies… A FromSoftware crossover would be great. Or NG+++, or toggleable game modes when starting like 1 heart, no stamina, stronger enemies, more cunning enemies etc. Would have made the game 10 times better.

  6. As an alternative to the scaffold, you can also use a Spring! It will despawn eventually but one or two Springs is enough to get through a fight. I think ideal would be a spring with a concrete slab or two as shielding, just in case there's no natural cover and you need to try to use the spring while under fire.

  7. The addition of homing arrows really simplifies this fight. You don’t even need to aim, or need bullet-time.

Bone weapon proficiency, attack up +3 food, and a bone weapon makes it just trivial. Fight usually ends for me within 1 minute.

  8. You should be able to get a lot more than just a couple hits in… You don't have to be THAT careful, specially if you have rocket shields as u can just launch back up in the air as soon as he starts waking up in order to stun him once again before he can even attack.

Also worth noting that striking it in the eyes does Crit damage while he's lying on the ground, so always target the eyes when hitting it while its laying on the ground for extra damage.

  9. I noticed that you're not really going for the eyes when it's lying on the ground… You should be as that does 1.5x the usual damage when you do!

Always strike the eyes not the neck or body & you'll take it down a lot quicker!

  10. The Autobuild bit is really unnecessary when you can get airborne with a simple spring, bomb or rocket attached to your shield. You don't HAVE to use Rockets, you can use a Spring or even a Bomb & shield surf with it to gain a lot of air.

& contrary to popular belief, it only uses 1 regular point of Durabilty when doing so while Rockets use 2 points of Durability.

The scaffolding idea is neat & all, but it's honestly just not a good strategy. It's way too slow to use & just inefficient. There are far better ways to go about getting air.

  11. I intentionally don’t use the devices to make the fight fun. I like fighting the sky island three headed fire ice electric combo gleeok. It’s really fun to switch between elemental arrow types to beat him/her/it or whatever it uses to identify lol

  12. I was too nervous to even try fighting Gleeoks but you gave me the confidence to try with this video and I beat my first one! a few rough moments during the fight but I know I'll get better with practice. thank you for another super helpful guide!

  13. My favorite way to deal with Gleeoks is to whittle their health down to about 15-20% left, then let them fly really high up in the air before stunning them again and letting the falling damage they take finish it off.

  14. You fail to mention that 8/10 times, you’re going to take enough of his life away where, when you’re running back to get on the second level, he enters that mode in which he flies super high and you have to get creative.
I finally killed it, but I had to ascend to the top, use a spring and then I was able to reach with arrows.

But I never could find a trick to get his life in that in between stage where he DOES NOT fly up to the sky.

In any case, I’ve used a few of your videos and they are generally helpful for sure!
    Thanks for your content!

  15. Great, helpful content, as always. I may already have grown as a Botw / Totk player when it comes to skill sets, but I won't forget how your videos have helped me when I was just starting this year on Botw.

    Thanks Sherri! 🎉

  16. I'd been avoiding the Gleeoks, but I'm working on my remaining side quests and I'd watched your video so I gave it a try. The biggest difference is my platform: I made mine from four pieces: Two long stone slabs, one square stone slab, and one spike. So when you stand it upright, it's the height of the long stone slabs and a platform of the square stone slab. I then put a spike in the corner of the long slabs, coming out the bottom (in case the land isn't flat). I had to build it three times during the fight, but at only four pieces it wasn't overly expensive. You don't get as much height as with the beam, but it was plenty for my fight (in Gerudo Canyon). My biggest mistake was consistently taking too many hits while it was down – I'm just greedy 😉

  17. Honestly they are. I'm not watching this video but I at least one of them is. Maybe it's because they had that better bow that you get from Rito but I unintendedly came across one and then decided to fight it. They look really really cool but unfortunately as intimidating as they look there really wasn't much of a fight there. It was a cool looking fight but it just it wasn't hard
