loving this from Pahoa….
prepping part of 3 acreage for growing vegetables and fruit trees and going fully-fledged KNF.
Mahalo Chris
Lol, he's back.
Finally! Thank you!

this is the only video I've seen from you.
no clue as to what you're trying to accomplish there.
grateful for some recent activity from you, keen to see your progress in Costa Rica, I stumbled across your content about 2 weeks ago and have been hooked at learning more everyday.
will be fetching my first IMO out the jungle today, excited to see what i got, I've got some goals for fruit forests and veggie farming all with your KNF methods.
thank you Chris ππ
So there is going to be amazing stuff on the channel !!!! please keep going
Greetings Chris! Glad to see you back and helping us out again! Much appreciated π βΊοΈ π! Cheeo!
That first shot of you 3 in front of the vehicle had me thinking you would open the trunk and taste some Colombian marching powder and hand over a suitcase ππ
Thank you for posting this video. I was at a farm walk on Tom Stacks farm on Saturday, he speaks very highly of you and seems to be doing really well using KNF.
Thank you! Learnt lots of small new details from this video. Appreciate you Chris !
Doing the good work as usual. Thanks Chris!
Listening to this took me back to my youth in a Spanish speaking church. The whole sermon was in English and Spanish lol.
Thanks for the great video Chris!
I am a carpenter and have access to tons of clean wood chips, shavings and dust.
I wonder if an IMO collection is possible using the sawdust instead of rice?
It is something I will try, cause if it works it's one more use for the waste from work.
Hi Chris, Great to see you back on YT! I'm here mostly with raised beds in mile-high arid Colorado clay dirt… this past summer I set out 3 collection boxes with no success. Could you please offer some help for those of us in dry conditions?? It seems impossible to collect here. Hoping for help. Thanks, Chris!
This awesome to have your content back. I learned so much from your earlier content , hoping to learn more and get better
Quick question for you. If I try using Kefir instead of Milk when making LABS is it still LABS? I used kefir and rice wash water. Followed your exact methods from your older video about LABS. The only difference is the substitution of kefir instead of milk. Question is can it be used in the same way as LABS?? Glad you are back on YouTube. Thanks for all the amazing information
I just started making my own knf preps this spring and I'm really happy, that more stuff is comming now. Keep up the good work!
I already enjoyed the deep dive in the Shaping Fire Podcast with Shango Los.
I did your experiment 6 months ago. And inoculated activated biochar. My first flushes of mushrooms are coming up. Used sawdust and dried seaweed to make the charcoal. Its absolutely fascinating. Thank you for the opportunity to learn. πΏπ¦π©π½βπΎππ

Just curious why bloom the rice. Couldn't w collect a small amount and just use that or bloom at home. I know we are then taking from nature but if we left half the patch wouldn't it re establish itself? Love the education you share.
Hell yeah! I've been following for about a year now. Have watched all of your older how-to vids multiple times, and have since started my own batches. I love it! Thank you, Chris! Glad you're making videos again!
So why do you prefer to do this rather than the Jadam method of just collecting the leaf mold itself and bringing it back to inoculate JFL. Also why not just bring the leaf mold and use it to inoculate an IMO 3 pile and skip the first 2 steps?
As your dental professionalβ¦ I strongly advise you not to use your teeth to tighten your zip ties! π
Love ur work Chris!!!
Ooooooooh! Welcome back
Awesome ππ
More how to videos would be great! This was very informative and easy to understand. Iβm eager to try but itβs coming into winter so Iβll have to wait.
Absolutely amazing man. Thank you so much for this

Great to see your video feeds again! Totally appreciate you sharing this as I plan to incorporate this into our own small piece of land in Puna ππππ€
Just…awesome!π€
Freakin AWESOME!!!!!πππ
Can i do the same inside my home. Bring the fungi from forest and innoculate at the comfort of my home without risk of animal interference.guess no microbial diversity huh?
Is there a specific video or reading material that I can use to gain more info on the KNF chickens? I have watched the series where you went over and got training. But its sort of hard to follow with the translations and non direct footage. I have the materials master cho sells and it just isn't very clear info.
Beautiful… Spanish dub included!!!
I looked over your playlist to find a how to video about making the boxes and how to dry cook the rice. Would someone please direct me to the videos showing them? Iβm going to do this, just need a bit more of the basics for setup. Thank you!
Good content! Sad that aloki is practically gentrification as βecologyβ, Costa Rica is not anymore land of native people π
just a thought, since you want mycelium, and in mushroom growing all sorts of different grains are used, maybe a different grain would fit this purpose better. Rice is prone to getting sticky (since you cook the rice to not stick this would make it a lot easier), lots of other grains such as oats, rye, hard wheats can be cooked and still not get sticky nearly as easily, would they work better for this purpose?
Hey Chris! When are you going to do a second edition to imo 2,3&4?
is there a way to bring this back to your garden and put it in the shade or something with the fungi or does that not really work?
My IMO1 has many colours, red, green, white, black. Is it good or bad? Thank you in advance
