  1. Fun bit fof godly trivia.

The Rod of Asclepius is rod in the centre of the symbol the WHO. The rod was (obviously) the magical doohicky associated with Asclepius the greek god of healing. That god was lifted by the ancient greeks from ancient Egypt and their god of healing. Imhotep. Imhotep was notable for many things, he was vizier to Djoser, We know he existed as we have contempory evidence from within his lifetime (impressive as this was thousands of years before jesus). So yes, we have more evidence for a bloke dead 4000+ years ago than JC 2k.

And of course we have the Mummy films. Imhotep……Imhotep….imhotep…..

  2. People like this often don't understand that it won't persuade atheists. They are sincerely trying to persuade. But they either believe that everyone knows God exists and just won't accept, or they fail at trying to adopt a mindset of disbelief to start with, so their arguments miss the point.
I hate to call it brainwashing, but it really is limiting how they are able to reason.

  3. Alzheimers.
Look up the aluminium adjuvants in all those vaccines that you love so much and learn how the aluminium can be deposited in the brain leading to Altzheimers.
Dr Christopher Exley was cancelled for discovering this.

  4. 1:16:06 "If it bothers yer, do let us know."

So, about the facial hair, including the eyelashes and eyebrows, I feel that it all must go. That and the human looking skin, which should be replaced by more natural, generally more pleasing, yellow and blue hues…

  5. I tried to repeat her rambling “prayer” but I still couldn’t get thru it without fact checking myself.

“Jesus, if you’re real, then I’ve probably sinned against you and I believe in you as deeply as the evidence convinces me which is currently not that much but that’ll change if you reveal yourself more like these people say you did for them. And I accept your sacrifice, if that’s what you did and if you are real then that’s probably not what you did cause it makes no sense but if you’re real then yes thank you for whatever you did. And I guess I want to be with you forever if you and heaven are real, well maybe not but I definitely don’t want hell if that’s real so if you want to tell me how to avoid that I’d appreciate it”

That’s the best I could do. Am I saved ?

  6. I think I've figured out why God hasn't revealed himself to me.
I never joined the military, or got addicted to hard drugs.

The bible does talk about Jesus spending time with tax collectors and prostitutes. So looking in the bible and going to church was the wrong approach. All that time I was apparently supposed to be looking for him in red light districts.

  7. I agree with the guest , I respect people who admit they only believe on faith more than any apologist using bad arguments, even though its a dishonest position.

Surely those people are less likely to vote based on what their religion says anyway, because deep down they know its probably bullshit and they have to make their own decisions.

  8. Everything has to be about God. Somehow it always feels most weird and out of place when it comes to music.

It's always "That music is shit, because it's not about God" which is such a weird notion. Like there are musical pieces which has no lirics virtually no name (the generic-ish names like "symphony in F" or something like that) and are beautiful pieces of art.

I quite vividly remember my disapproval of one sermon I attended as a kid where the person basically entered a pissing contest of gospel song writing : "The pop-music sing about love, but what is the biggest love there is? God. They sing about betrayal and forgiveness, but what is the biggest forgiveness? Yeah God's." It was so pathetic I wanted to run away from the church (and I was like 10 or something). It was so cringe it got engraved into my mind somewhat.

  9. If you define your imaginary friend in such a way that everything good which happens in your life is him directly and everything bad is (depending on the outcome) a challenge for you to overcome (with his help) or happened for a reason you don't understand, but it is definitely good he will never leave you alone…

  10. I love how the guy compared the Bible to some action movie because "we all want vengeance".

I think people generally would not want to experience a lot of what happens in those action movies. I don't want to become a hostage so that some hero then gets to save me. Life can just be peaceful and wrongdoing of any sort could be reserved to stories if there was an allmighty god who wants good for his creation.
