How to get to Happy Bay [One of Saint Martin's most Beautiful Beaches]

Happy Bay is one of the best beaches on the island but unlike most of our beaches, it is not as easily accessible as the others. Either walk through private property on one side or arrive by boat. But there is another way.

Things to know about Happy Bay: There are no restaurants or bars on this beach (there is a structure though from which sometimes cold beverages are sold on Sundays) so you’ll have to bring your own beverages, food and umbrella. It is the location for the Annual electronic dance music festival, SXM Music Festival, which takes place every March, and because of this beach’s privacy it is preferred by nudists. The current here can be a bit strong at times.

  1. Thank you for the videos. I have been visiting St Maarten for many years but I appreciate all of the things that you have shown on your videos as some I was not familiar with. We will be in the island in July for our wedding anniversary and I booked a day on Pyratz thanks to your video on that a while ago I learned about this and I am super excited to surprise my husband with it. Everything looks amazing so I am looking forward to it. I have never been to Friar's bay so hope to try that too this time. Thanks again for all of the videos.

I need your help, I think on my ehas form I left out what COVID test I took, tho I did up load pictures of it, I only got my pre approval letter I’m wondering if I can fill out another ehas application or Will I get red flagged for doing it 2ice? All my friends got their approval letter but me, mine still pending. So you sum it all up can I fill out a new application because there may be errors in it? Or will I get red flagged for filling out more then 1? Please help I travel in less then 2 days🙏🏽

I will be going to Sint Maarten in 2 weeks and just wanted to see what the latest mask nonsense requirements are in effect? I tried researching it and a lot of articles are old but also found a government minister stating that the mask mandate was dropped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ciao.

  5. [One of Saint Martin's most Beautiful Beaches]???? St Martin spelling> Interesting….anyway was on a crusie recently and stopped at st martin. After watching your other videos I was wondering if I would like it…now I know you are not really telling the real story of st. martin. 1. No one cares if i wear my bathing suit on the street or shops or restaurants. Actuall got plenty of compliments from the locals. Looks like only jealous women like you care…lol, I guess you dont want the locals looking at us!!!! 2. No one cared if I said Good MorTing…Good Afternoot..or Good Eveningnint…they DONT CARE. They only care about the tourist $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ All they wanted was our money and thats it…tourism is back and money talks. I am glad you are NOT the typical island person cause everyone was super friendly and fun….Now I finally understand. Dont Hate…Participate!!!!!

  6. Hey there! Thank you for all of your fun and informative videos, I've enjoyed them a bunch!! We'll be on your beautiful island (sadly for just one day) in July 2023, but hoping to also plan a trip back to spend more time later. Quick question, if you have time. For our one day trip (we're renting atv's from Johnny's Scooter) we plan to drive the perimeter of the island and beach hop (we only have from 8:303:00ish). One daughter wants some off the beach "snorkeling", the other would be mortified to be on a beach with nude people, lol…so if you only had time to stop at 3-4 beaches (either side of the island) which family friendly, but more nature filled (aka non touristy) beaches would you recommend? Thank you so much in advance and thank you again for your fun videos!
