Sadly I got a detail of the story spoiled online and it makes it so I'm pretty sure I know what's happening here. That said, I'm still super excited to see how we get to that point. I just got the sword, but now that I know how it works I've decided to return to an earlier save so I can get it again at the end of the memories for a more satisfying payoff.
John! The fight was a 7/10 for me, I had pretty good weapons and all sages to be fair tho, 1st try too ❤

I’m in the same boat as you Austin. I had no idea the last memory played when you got the master sword and I also care deeply about the story so I was kinda bummed. On the bright side, I was distracted while the cutscene played so it’s all foggy for me. Gonna get all the memories before I actually watch the and enjoy the cutscene

You know damn well I’m not watching this to learn how to get the Master Sword, I’m just watching it to see an epic tutorial. I am glad that I found it blind.
And about the fight, it was totally awesome. No other fight thus far has made me say out loud, “Dude, this is actually just Dark Souls” so many times in a row
I finally got the master sword. It was beautiful and I shed a tear 🙂 so much more badass than botw master sword cut scenes :,)

And all I can say is………. i got it
I have done 2 dungeons fire and wind and all geoglyphs and was heading for the final one and saw a dragon low to the ground and got the master sword can I still do all this stuff?
i hate the fight
I think my favorite new thing that’s added to this game is the ability to ride dragons. I stay on the dragon while I do things around the house and it lights up every 10 mins or so letting me shoot it for parts and then teleport so I land on its back again. So much fun, and who doesn’t want a pet dragon?

I went through h—- twice
I love how I found it completely by accident.
Just went back to the island from the beginning and saw that dragon flying around there.
My first thought was, can I build a plane and land on it?
Because it was the first dragon, that I was near enough to try it out, and then there she was, after I wondered all the time where she could possibly be.
Even without doing any of the quests, it was a really magical moment that gave me chills.
I will still go for the quest afterwards!
The fight didn't go well at all
I actually found all the glyphs, got the last tear on Rist Peninsula, & LANDED ON THE DRAGON. I walked up & down it's back collecting shards, saw something cool & bailed. I NEVER NOTICED THE SWORD! (Of course, I was feeling All the things because of the memories) So I head back to the Garden of Time, no sword. Back to Impa, no sword. Head for the Korok Forest, took a wrong turn in the Depths & end up circling around the entire Lost Woods before making my way in. I didn't even talk to the Great Deku Tree before noticing his naval infection. I jumped down & yelped when I realized I had to fight Gloom Hands. Thru terror & tears I actually beat all the enemies on my first try. All to realize that the Sword was on the Light Dragon THE WHOLE TIME!
Is anyone know, if I get sword without quest after I found all geogliphes, is it possible to finish all main quests to get secret cutscene after credits?

I somehow skipped all of this because Zelda in dragon form was flying above the spiral beach thing as I was getting the final tear. So I just landed on her and grabbed it lmao.

It was kind of easy because of tulin and Sidon so all I had to do really was play defence
I am so glad I put 90% of my light of blessings into stamina😂
Also I got terribly beat up in that chasm the first time I went in😂

Hey Austin, could you please do a video about the best order to do everything for the story? Or if anyone in the comments happens to know the best progression? I'm at the point now where I'm being directed to return to the castle to go after Zelda. I have most of the geoglyphs done (stopped where you suggested we do so and completed the regional phenomenon, thank you). But now I'm worried about messing up the story. Not sure if I should go to the castle as instructed or finish the glyphs first?
I ran into 1Of the hand monsters going to the thing to go up to the decker tree and I literally die like 500 times And so when I went to fight this hand under the decker tree what I did was I just shot it with the bomber shot with the bomber again and then it literally started grabbing me so I told it out of there
For those wondering if you can get the master sword without doing the quests.. Yes you can, randomly saw the light dragon when I was hunting for sage wills and used rockets and air balloon to reach it since it's so up high.
I didn't do any of this, I found and watched all the Geoglyphs, and after the last cutscene it started to fly very low so I got on and got the Master sword.
That fight did not go well, ohboy
All I had to do was sit at the great sky island, and when the light dragon came, I had to use one rocket shield, and I got the master sword and I didn’t have to do the korak forest

I never screamed so loud out of fear until I went into the Deku tree and did that fight you mentioned 😣 first time experiencing the 👐🏼
After a few minutes hanging on the wall hoping they despawned I cheated and watched ahead in the video
i went and did the fight i died like 5 times
So my story is a bit different. I was getting the battery armor piece at the forge which is high enough for the light dragon to fly by. I didn't even know the master sword was there. I was just getting shards and going to get a piece of horn. I had only done 2 geoglyphs at the time, but I already had my guesses. Luckily I already had two rings of stamina.
I got the master sword memory first and I didn't feel like I ruin the story for myself if anything it felt like it added to the story… I'm… a special soul
