  1. I remember those days and the limited news in the US. Thanks Cappy for filling in all the details of the actions against ISIS. I met a warfighter at a bus station, who had the hard look of a combat veteran. We chatted a while and I thanked him for his service and hard work. He told me he was on his way to fight in Mosul. I hope he's now living a good and peaceful life back state side.

  2. I don't like this video simply because it was completely silent on the very important turning point of war against ISIS. The actual war against ISIS was never a thing, before that moment happened. Because US were benefiting from their actions, since they were a threat to SAA, and SAA was a target. Also because Turkey was dealing with ISIS to get cheap oil.

The real destruction of ISIS started only after Russia's arrival and the reason why it was possible is because Russia was the only side that didn't gave a single fuck about oil logistics coming from Turkey back and forth and was only interested in total destruction of ISIS which is why they were first to attack oil trucks and everything. They rained hell on anything that had sign ISIS on it. Without hesitation, without double standards, without compromises. They had no deals with ISIS unlike US and Turkey. Russians were absolutely merciless to ISIS and anything that stands near them. Because they knew it were proxy forces of US which goal was to defeat SAA. Russia had understandable concerns that after SAA, the next target would be Russia.

Only later US came to this war after realizing they can't fight Russia and SAA even by proxy such as ISIS and other groups, so they started attacking ISIS to get "karma points" while there was still a time to play "good guys". Or else Russia would finished all of it on their own.

Considering that initial plan was to use ISIS as weapon against SAA and because they couldn't do anything to them since Turkey needed oil from ISIS and wouldn't allow US to do anything.. I imagine that was really painful for US to destroy all these investments only because Russia suddenly out of nowhere decided to play ballsy and started destroying ISIS not on words but on practice. Had they tried to keep supporting ISIS with weapons and intel against Russia for longer, that would be very bad for public image.

I witnessed all this back in the days of this operation, and i remember all of it. How US were using ISIS and other groups to create instability in region in order to defeat SAA, and how there were thousands of oil carriers moving with oil to Turkey. How every NATO country was trying to shield Turkey from evidences provided by Russian side including using satellite images, video satellite recordings, even intercepted comms between Turkey dealers and ISIS combatants during oil transfer.

Turkey which was working with ISIS and getting oil from ISIS was so mad by this, they even attacked Russian plane and US attacked Russian ground forces as well. They even supported some groups with drones to attack Russian base. That didn't stopped them. They absolutely destroyed everything that ISIS had in Syria and supported SAA on ground and helped Syria to stand on their feet. ISIS was destroyed only thanks to ground forces which were supported by Russians. But for some odd reason their real role wasn't even mentioned in the video. They did the majority of job including ground operations and air strikes along with SAA. Without their intervention, ISIS would still be there. And non of these was mentioned in the video.

You ever wondered how it was even possible for ISIS to became so absurdly powerful? This doesn't make any sense, that a terrorist organization would ever became so extremely powerful to turn into a whole state, isn't that right?

All thanks to support of US and Turkey. Mostly Turkey because they were the main side which was buying oil from ISIS. US provided them with military training, expertise, intel and coordinated them to be used against SAA and later against Russian forces in Syria.

You know what is even more outrageous? That Russia was the only side in entire Syria which was acting there by invitation of SAA. US and other NATO countries were not even supposed to be there by international law. They were by all means trespassers without any rights to be there.

  3. Ridiculously sadly hilariously , it’s not how isis was destroyed it’s how a stolen USA presidential election lead to them being armed with $85 BILLION of weaponry and the treasonous cowardly USA military command assisted their re-arming through the Taliban.

  4. After being in the ground and seeing it first hand, this video gave my 2 deployments over there in 2015/16 a little more meaning. I was focused on my mission and my buddies, not the bigger picture. Thank you for explaining this operation with such enthusiasm and knowledge!

  5. Did you notice after Russia help the syrian army to defeat the terrorist israel start to give air support to isis attacking the syrian army then Russia chase israel planes and they run like cowards back to israel since then israel launch missiles from lebanon space , israel do not respect any air space of neighbors countries but they get mad when any country attach their plane inside neighbors countries

  6. bro its been like 25 years with the war on terror, all we did is gave al-Qaida money, killed civilians, created ISIS, and claimed we destroyed iss (which we haven't).

You people have created a world that has its mouth wrapped around a shotgun and you keep pulling the trigger.

  7. Great video however you are missing 2 things, how iran was engaged on the ground to push back Isis. This was coordinated with the US and is well documented. How anything that the CIA touches burns to ashes. With iran they have engaged Taliban, al-Qaeda Isis and all other ARAB terrorist blocks for a long time. Problem they have is hating Israel otherwise they would have been hero of the middle east.

  8. The name of the video should be 'US and coalition operations against ISIS'. There were more countries involved in air attacks and land operations (some of them are cancelled now, though).

  9. The bottom line is, when the world is watching, the US/UK-Axis would kill their ISIS and Al Qaeda Allies as a PR stunt. When the world isn't watching, the US/UK-Axis supports their ISIS/Al Qaeda Allies.

  10. I’m not gonna argue about anything but there is something to be said about the whole situations in the Middle East like worst group maybe but there were warlords in the Middle East that coerced minors into let’s say exploitive relationships and the US were supporting them even dishonorably discharging US troops that tried to call them out as the troops should. This group would probably be in the top ten or twenty worse groups but the worst is kind of ignoring a lot ngl. Maybe one of the worst in recent history as per 2010-20s but even that be contested as of recent events. This recap is pretty good tho ngl.

  11. Timely video. Seems ISIS is still around though, they just claimed responsibility for the twin bombings in Iran at Solemani's memorial service.

But Democrats are in charge, so that's not surprising.
