The cityscape of Los Angeles will change over the next few years as new skyscrapers are added. Impressive mega-projects are emerging and will shape the cityscape in 2030.
Los Angeles is one of the largest cities in America with some of the tallest buildings in the country. Its skyline is ranked 1st in the Pacific Coast region and 5th in the United States. The city went through a large building boom during 1960-90 which resulted in the completion of 23 of its tallest buildings.
In todays video I will show you Los Angeles skyscrapers of the future that are under construction or planned to be built in Los Angeles, California.
Due to the rapid development of skyscrapers in Los Angeles, the status and other details of the buildings below are subject to change, and over time, more high-rise towers would be proposed.
Thank you for watching!

amazing!
A lot of them won’t be built.
The fact that the video keeps switching between completely different projects but talking about one has me confused lol
Doesn't matter what they skyline looks like if there are thousands of homeless still camping and shyting on the sidewalk at the base of these buildings,
we're going into a recession. we need affordable housing.
Who’s going to live in these buildings or work in them hello too dam expensive in LA
I can't wait
Where are projects outside of DTLA?
The crazy rich Asians are the market
Most of these wont get built
We need some spires or something more interesting than box tops.
I keep hearing about residential and thinkjng lmfaoo only people living in them are gonna be rich ass asians and white people
They should put some money on fixing the subway system too so it will be easier to get around without a car? Like New York or London. Good for environment to aswell as for the people in Los Angeles and the tourists.
Do San Francisco. They have a better skyline. It’s 2nd on the pacific coast region, and 6th, after LA. In the nation. Also at 0:38 that’s Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.
two things most people don't think about with these "skyscrapers" is the insane engineering that goes into them because they are being built in the earthquake belt of the country and second is excess burden put on an already extremely overtaxed infrastructure (water, sewer and electrical system) caused by cramming too many people into too small of an area. Let's hope that most (if not all) of these buildings never get built.
The images and information of the towers are so inaccurate
Skyline? Abandoned after Lake Mead dries up.
Only 1 under construction so far. So that means that only one other would probably get built and the other 8 are fantasies.
Yeah 80% of these have a fat chance of actually happening
Super bums
view LA, emang keren
1:37 The NY architects made sure that the design looks like the Flatiron Building in NYC.
Yea this will solve the homeless situation. Vote your communist gov. Out!
