  1. I’m not gonna lie I do find myself stereotyping pigeons as dirty and derpy. Part of that is because of their looks. Like if they are brown and doesn’t have red/orange eyes maybe i’ll like em better? Thanks for teaching me about pigeons though. I will learn to respect them

  2. Pigeons would probably be as pretty as doves if we didn't throw them out with the squirrels, we made something beautiful into a flying rat with disease.. you think its ugly but we're responsible for it, which is why its ugly.

  3. Reasons I love pigeons:
    1. They are adorable. The way they look at you, their sweet temperaments, the noise they make, the way they’re so pudgy, the way they waddle and scrat along with their claws, the way they preen themselves and each other, the way they’re so loving to their partners, and the way they fluff themselves up. Aww.
    2. The way they’re so gentle and sweet. When they eat out of your hand, they’re so gentle.
    3. The noise they make when they fly.
    4. The happy times I’ve spent feeding them.
    5. They make such loving, friendly, sweet and affectionate pets.
    6. The way they look at you when you’ve got food.
    7. They can scrat along so fast!
    8. They save on food waste in the streets.
    9. They are domesticated. We tamed and domesticated them. For thousands of years, we used for carrying messages, their meat and as pets. Then, when we didn’t want them anymore, we just kicked them to the curb. 😔 😞 😢 🥺 🥹
    10. Unlike seagulls, they don’t steal food and aren’t aggressive.

  4. Even if you hate pigeons, please don’t hurt them. Even if you are scared of them, there’s no need to. They’re still a living, sentient creature. Please, just avoid them if you’re scared. Or just shop them away without hurting or killing them…

  5. Lesser known fact about pigeons, they are incredibly affectionate. I once found a 5 days old one in the street and picked it up to care for it, as soon as it could fly it decided to do the cuddles with me and no barrier could stop it.

  6. Murmuration is actually geniues. When they fly together they look like one animal. example the reason why wild lions don't attack visitors is because everyone is on a vehicle and to the loin it looks like one big animal. If a person were to clime of the vehicle. The lion would attack because the person aka animal in its eyes is killable. Murmuration is exactly the same.

  7. Is quite a coincidence you make a pigeon video The same week I saw what I asume were TWO pigeons entering into a Pao de Açucar (A Walt art like store we have here in Brasil). And I say “Assume” because this happens two different days and I saw them one each day, And they were SO SIMILAR they could’ve been the SAME PIGEON, specially figuring their intelligence level is so high and we’re we found them (the first one on the first day stayed at the entrance, while the second one AT THE END OF THE WEEK managed to get into the store UP to the LICOR AILE.
Needless to say I don’t drink anymore 😂
