  1. Duncan Weir spot on @20:05 – its not Technical – its about your Mentality -100% In this day and age , most players are monsters – gym freaks of nature – sure genuine talent pops up and can do wonders see – Antoine Dupont , but look at what NZ did to the Irish in the 1/4s, the Boks in the WC knock-outs… that was all mental. Insane Conditioning also helps!!

  2. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Ref on Saturday, I thought he was superb, that is just sour grapes from Jake. I thought Bulls could almost sneak in it at the end, but Glasgow fully deserved it!

  3. Bulls looked more tired than Glasgow the Scots were so up for it. Hurts a bit although not as much as the Stormers' weak bow out but congratulations to the visitors for the doggedness they brought to the final. A title well deserved and not just talking about the final.

  4. The semi final showed a prelude of this when Le Roux went off 2nd half and how much the game changed after that. Le Roux not fit for the final had me very worried this was going to be the result.

One thing though. I wish rugby would let go of the old amatuer excuses of altitude etc. The minimum required height in professional sport, for altitude to even have minimal impact on fitness is 2000m, loftus isnt even 1400m.

And the north/south travel does not cause jetlag, never has, never will, thats not what jetlag is, nor does it hit you within 1st week.

Travel fatigue is what it is, and you are fully back up to speed within 24hrs of landing, no fuss.
Clinging onto this nonsense is, imho, part of Bulls short comings on international stage, its a crutch, and oft leads to complancy by the team, in expectations of how competitive opponents will be.
Its not altitude, its about the climate, how dry it is compared to everywhere else in the world rugby is played.

  5. What a great final. As a neutral that was one of the best finals ever! Always a treat when an underdog wins. I think bulls will take a massive learning from this to game manage better especially in a final

  6. If there was ever a team who deserved this, it's Glasgow, they've have been fully committed to the many versions of the league, it's great for the league to have Irish, Sth African and Scottish battling for the title. With improving Italian teams it looks good…. Well done Glasgow

  7. As an SA supporter, behind the Bulls as the way, I must respectfully congratulate the Warriors for an amazing victory! They thoroughly deserved it. Did they travel away for their quarters, semi's and final? Wow. Try beat that for overcoming the odds! They simply had too much in that 2nd half for us to handle. We certainly missed a few players, but we played the same full season as the Warriors had to endure, so if we became over dependent upon players who weren't able to contribute as required, that's nobody's shortfall other than ours. We missed Willie and Hanekom. Hanekom was there, but a fraction of the game changer he was the previous week. Glasgow Warriors have earned my respect and will now be one of my favourite sides. Well done lads!!!!!

  8. From a lifelong Bulls fan: Glasgow was the best team. Their defence was brilliant, the way they stuck with it was massively impressive. The Bulls' attack was very one-dimensional without Willie on the field, especially in the second half when the one-off runners weren't getting over the line. Could not believe we lost that match after being so dominant in the scrum. Very disappointed, but well-deserved victory for the Scots.

  9. Saffa …Lions supporter. Glasgow thoroughly deserved every win from the semi–through to URC champions. It was an immense effort. Jake…shut it. Put your fucking hand up and take responsibility for a change

  10. Well done to Glasgow! Well deserved! From a gutted Bulls supporter that was at the game. Agree 100% with Andy. Bulls got it wrong, warriors made us look flat on our feet and we had no plan B on attack. Also agree with the stadium music was too much.
